It’s cheaper than the norm because the expiration date is only a few months away, Sept 2025. I have a new box that I bought at the store and the expiration is August 2026. I can finish the box by this September. However, it does taste much more stale than if it was newer. The color of the ‘frosting’ had turned a greenish blue as opposed to the normal chocolate color.Update as of May 20, 2025: the seller reached out to me. They apologized and offered me a full refund and they hope I will give them another chance—which I will because they reached out to me.I changed my rating to 4 stars as they have also offered me a replacement. I will update again once I get the replacement product.As of May 25th. I changed my rating to 5 stars because they shipped my free replacement product very quickly. I received it yesterday. Had it this morning and it was fresh and tasty and what I expected from a new box! Expiration date is 2026 like the one I bought from the store. Thank you Legendary!

The last two boxes of these have been horrible quality. The pastry is dissformed, no chocolate filling or hardly any sprinkles. The icing looks like a nasty moldy concoction that makes me want to throw up looking at it and not want to eat it. Plus the actual pastry is not looking anything like the picture on the wrapper. For the hefty price tag someone should make sure quality control is done before the product is shipped off to be sold to the customer. Manufacturer clearly doesn’t care to sell a less than perfect quality product to consumers. Not sure if I will purchase again especially if that’s what I will get. Just terrible

I ordered these and then looked at the reviews. Some reviews were not good. I have found these to be delicious. My only advice is to stop expecting a pop tart. Nowhere does it say they are high protein pop tarts. They are delicious pastries. I have ordered many things that don't quite look like the picture shown. This does not change the taste. Some said they are too pricey. Show me a specialty food that isn't. I look forward to order another flavor.

It's not like a standard toaster pastry. In fact, it tastes better if only barely heated. That said, it tastes decent, has a good amount of protein and fills you up. Makes for a very good quick breakfast. Even my husband, who dislikes protein bars will eat this and the berry ones.

I love these. They don’t taste gross. I crave sweets and these do the job! Texture isn’t off at all.

The media could not be loaded. I just started buying this product . I really like them I am in a weight loss clinic and have to eat a lot of protein . So this is my second time buying it. I’m giving this three stars only because of the seller needs to know or Amazon needs to know how terrible their delivery was. The product came all torn up in the box. It came in a bag instead of another box hard box. The product is hot from being in the truck it’s chocolate so it’s mushy very disappointed in this delivery Amazon has gotten a little bit careless with their packaging. I am putting the box in the refrigerator for a couple hours in Hope of firming the wafers back up.

These are great for on-the-go breakfast or a mid morning snack. The consistency is a bit different than normal poptarts, but the kids love them! Lower sugar and high protein for the snack win

I love these chocolate ones, but was very disappointed in this package. I have had 3 of them so far and either the gooey middle was completely missing, the frosting was off to the side, or only a tiny stripe on it. I buy these all the time from the big box retailers and have NEVER experienced this. I am thinking they save these bad batches for Amazon. Not cool when people are actually trying to track their protein, sugar, calories, etc. They weren’t any cheaper than the big box retailers, just convenient since I was already placing an order. Wish I took pictures of them.
