But, other than that, it's a great resource for funky bass tunes. Review: Covers all skill levels with good variety of tunes - Wide variety of tunes and skill levels. Great resource, different funk styles
A great range of different funk styles. However, I did have one beef: Why they would include the Coolio version of Fantastic Voyage and not the Lakeside version, in a bass book, I will never understand. But, other than that, it's a great resource for funky bass tunes.

Great book. All of these amazing songs in one book.

Too much detail, and too many pages, FOR ME
Too much detail, and too many pages, to communicate the songs FOR ME. Funk has repetitive bass lines yet this book includes every measure. That might be what folks are looking for, but it makes it less valuable for me. For example, Brick House is on nine 9"x12" pages (sometimes with eight measures per page). That requires a lot of page turning and hunting for variations and nuance that ***I*** don't find helpful. Your needs may vary.

Learning some new bass lines ,I really enjoy funk rhythms. This book has some classics and others not so well known . Bass tabs easy to follow with practice.

Love it, exactly as I hoped.
