My 4-year-old son was eager for this clock to arrive. It came in 2 days just as promised.....but when it came out of the box, we were surprised to see a black clock with white numbers, instead of the white clock we ordered. That’s fine, and he was excited that the clock hands were exposed. Battery in, nothing happened. I looked for any directions in the box...but could find none except "putting a AA battery in". How complicated can it be? We were ready to accept the wrong color, but we certainly could not take a clock that does not work. Very disappointed. Returning it.

I love the way the clock looks. However the construction of the unit leaves a lot to be desired. My clock arrived with the hour hand slipped off the drive shaft freely swinging and the battery compartment negative pole attachment bracket badly bent. I was able to fix both problems and if the clock keeps time and lasts for a year I'll be happy. . Just don't be surprised at the flimsy nature of the actual timekeeping mechanism.

The style and aesthetic design caught my attention. Once out of the box the second hand paused and staggered. Besides not working properly, reading this clock is not obvious. 7:55 looks more like 8:55. Back into the box. I appreciate the design details of the clock—if only it would keep time.

Very disappointing. I was thrilled with the clock when I first received it. A month or so in, it started getting slow and I had to adjust it every once in a while. Now, 4 months after purchasing, it has died. I tried multiple batteries with no success.

Beautiful clock. Well designed and looks great in the bathroom. Seems to be just a touch fast, but I'd rather have it fast than slow :).
