Product Description Nutley's Kitchen Gardens Woven Bird Net is ideal for many garden uses including protecting fruit and vegetables from birds and chicken runs. Strong but lightweight garden netting. It is made of UVS polyethylene with a diamond mesh, allowing it to conform to all irregular shapes. Resistant to UV ray damage, mildew and rotting. Note: due to the elastic nature of this fabric, precise measurements can be difficult. It is recommended that at least 30% more netting than you anticipate you will need is ordered, both in width and length. It measures 10 m length by 8 m width. Mesh size: 17 mm. It is available in green colour. Box Contains 1 x Woven Bird Net

Goods not what they are supposed to be
Bought this to cover a 6m x 6m patch of bowling green after reseeding. Unfortunately we didn't lay it out on receipt, the label on the package did say 10m x 10m, we put it down a few days ago and found the net is not 10m x 10m square, it is 10m x 5m at best so very disappointed, annoyed and feel ripped off. Had we checked it on receipt we would have had time to return it but once the seed went down we had to use the net and could not send it back. I've been shopping on Amazon for many many years and this is the first time we have bought something that hasn't been what it was supposed to be, valuable lesson learned in how not to trust. Advice to anyone else buying a Nutley net is to check it immediately on receipt in case you also get short changed.

It's a fine grade woven mesh
Very light weight, and not particularly strong. I bought this to cover a 13ftx13ft fruit cage and, one day later, I'm going back to the allotment to remove and replace it. It's a fine grade woven mesh, delivered in a large Amazon box but the contents could be pressed into a shape the size of a kids football (to give an idea of the volume of this). Awkward to install on a high cage - but that's to be expected of any mesh, but so incredibly light weight that it billows and snags at every occasion. There is stretch to this which makes the positioning of this a clumsy job, and having installed and stapled this in situ, I'm finding that I've probably snagged and torn the mesh leaving larger holes. My reason for removal - with occasional holes I'm concerned about birds finding their way into the cage - once that's happened, they'll kill themselves trying to fly out. If you cover something it HAS to maintain it's integrity against pests - otherwise you can cause needless suffering. In my mind I cannot trust this product in an exposed environment not to be damaged and allow pests inside.

Super, economical net, easy to handle.
Used to cover roof of chicken pen, very strong and easy to handle, much better than strawberry netting which I have used in the past. Will stretch a lot and on arrival you may think it is not big enough but there is a lot of stretch in it. Ordered this and another smaller bit to cover an 11x8.5 m pen, this bit stretched enough to cover the whole pen and smaller portion not needed but will use am sure for another project.

Excellent. Strong and stretchy
Excellent netting. It looks as though it will tear easily but I used it to protect my strawberry patch through the summer without any deterioration in the netting. It stretches well and easily covered a patch of 9 x 6 metersUpdate 12th Apr 2018: Used it again last year for the strawberry patch. It got quite a bit of abuse but still proved to be excellent with no sign of wear or tear.

too easily damaged
It was nice and large so covered the area needed, but very disappointed in that it hasn't lasted for a whole year. Lots of holes in it which makes it dangerous for birds getting trapped.

Great quality for the price
Far superior to the cheap and nasty nylon stuff but still at a very good price.

Cannot be used now
I haven't used it yet,as my pond has a lot of plants sticking up out of it and I will have to take out and replant the marginal plants before it's possible but the netting looks OK
