I am really pleased with this item
I am really pleased with this item, which I prefer to call a coldframe. It is my first venture into this type of thing so I was dubious about how well it might be constructed and what the benefits might be. However, the design is great and it is well manufactured. It is easy to put together and I love the fact that the guideline holes for screws are pre-drilled and perfectly in line. When the front door closes it is very neatly aligned, which obviously prevents heat loss. As recommended by others, I have sprayed the wood with teak oil and the finish looks great.I bought a remote temperature monitor and tested how well the item performs - in midwinter here in the UK the temperature during the day got as high as 24 degrees centigrade during the day in the coldframe, although at night it went down to zero at night on one occasion so I have now bought a cheap heater, otherwise I would have had to wait a month or so to sow my newly bought seeds. I am sure it will be boiling in there in spring, even with no heater.Although I am a newbie to seed sewing, I feel confident I made a good purchase with this.

Great growhouse
Easy to build once you get started. All pieces present and correct and fit properly. Looks good once it's up and has a decent quality feel for the price. I am pleased I read lots of similar product reviews to get this one.

Cheap but affective
Nice cold frame you might like to add more treatment to timber and seal the plastic parts. Easy to fit together dispite reviews which I had read. Would have hoped for a little more for the money however not something you can't put right for a few pence. Could have given it five stars if some of the finishing had been better and for a few pence more it can look great. Watch the price same product is as much as £40 difference in the market place shop around

Doubly good
Very handy - I liked the first one so much I bought another. The first arrived with some transport damage (repairable with a bit of patience), but the seller was very prompt to offer a replacement or generous compensation, at my preference (I opted for the latter because I had already fitted it and added a coat of wood preservative). The second one was packed perfectly and in perfect condition. It arrived many days before the stated delivery date. I have fixed mine to the wall and might add some silicone to keep out the winter chill. Recommended.

Not bad but could be so much better
This is just for our small garden so is fine.I don't feel it is value for money - very expensive yet seems to made from very inferior wood and is very very light.I've painted it with wood preservative in the hope it will last longer. The instructions are horrendous!! Not very easy to follow and really not very clear at all. Pictures but no words. the pictures of all the screws and bolts look the same. Fastening on the doors was a bit of a nightmare and there is a bit of a gap where they meet. The lid has no fastener on it and so if it's windy it does blow up and slam down so I've had to weigh it down with a brick for now. I have also put some bricks in the bottom resting on the frame as while empty it would probably blow away. Not bad, but expensive for what it is - for the price I would have expected better quality.

Not to be undertaken lightly
Whilst I am certainly no DIY expert, constructing this was neither straightforward nor quick. Although all the parts were included and pre-drilled, the instructions are extremely thin on detail and ensuring that the doors are fitted correctly requires a combination of luck and judgement. Once constructed the structure is flimsy in the extreme until the shelves are put in place. We shall see how weatherproof it is, but the minimum requirements would seem to be a firm anchoring to the ground and several coats of Cuprinol (or similar). All in all getting it ready for use (including coating) has taken me the best part of two days - but I’m sure that many could do it quicker.

Good value
This is a lovely greenhouse for the price. The front doors arent a perfect match but that's the worst problem. I love that it is light weight and you can fix it to the ground if you want. It's also great that the panels do not have glass in them. They are made of a double glazed plastic sheeting that is rigid but not brittle. Really easy to put together. Would recommend.

Not too difficult to put together but because of the quality I would recommend treating it with creocote or similar
You get what you pay for. It's very lightweight, probably balsa wood. It will fly away if you don't weight it down. Not too difficult to put together but because of the quality I would recommend treating it with creocote or similar. Expect the assembly and coating to take you a good few hours
