I was really skeptical about trying another product to remedy my very deep forehead and jowl wrinkles. I’m so glad I tried it! It’s been a few weeks and I see a significant difference not only in the wrinkle depth, but in the enlarged pores I had nasal labial area! I can no longer feel the crease lines deep in my forehead and the skin appears to have tightened up so the wrinkles aren’t as pronounced anymore. A little goes a very long way! Definitely start out using it gradually as directed and ALWAYS follow up with a quality moisturizer (preferably one with collagen in it). Avoid the eye area…this stuff is STRONG! Don’t forget to use a moisturizer with SPF if you’re leaving the house and I’d even suggest giving your skin breaks from it once you get up to daily usage. I alternate with HA and my skin is looking so much more youthful! I’m 53 and without the deep forehead canyons, I’ve dropped 10 years from my appearance. This one really works. I was surprised that I was peeling which has never happened with other brands of retinol. Normally it only happens using tretinoin. This one is not for daily use of course.

I am a huge fan of tretinol or tretinoid which is the origin of retinol and mainly used as an acne medication, but you need a prescription for it. I was only taking a dose of 0.25% of it. The L'Oreal is one of only over the counter Retinols that is next best effective retinol on the market due to my research and opinion in Canada. If you have not used it before it can be very drying and can easily irritate sensitive skin, so start lightly or only do it every few nights. And build up a tolerance. There is a slight smell, I had to smell it to see if there was one for this review, it is not perfumy. And absolutely never wear it in the sun/day you'll do more damage to your skin. This is a for life life serum. You you should add a good mosturizer and vitamin C serum to get great results. if you can get the prescription go for it, if not it's the next best.
