Are you can powered by only USB?

Hello! This enclosure is bus-powered meaning it can be powered by only the USB port. This is going to depend on the drives installed though, and may require more power than the USB port is able to provide. This does include a power supply for configurations that are not able to be bus powered.

My aja disk test is showing only 171mb/s write vs 450mb/s on each drive separately (samsung 870) do others get similar speeds or faster..

Does this support trim?

Hello. This is only the drive enclosure. As far as trim goes it will only benefit a boot drive, and will also depend on the drive you are using.

If using this in Raid 1 and one drive fails. How will you know?

Hello. This unit has LED lights which if a drive is failed it will have a solid red light.
