It works , keeps you expectations realistic
I used the brick cleaner to clean the bed. I already cleaned the walls with a mix of vinagre, soap and water. The bed area was very dirty and the fireplace insert was seating right on it (it protruded from the wall). The water mixture helped but I needed something a bit stronger but not sting enough to create fumes and destroy the brick. This product removed a lot of dirt. You can see on the 2nd picture that I still have stains. I don’t think I can remove them without destroying the brick. I’m happy with the results. The product was nice to work with, no unpleasant odors. Actually, I didn’t smell anything. My fireplace with the new insert looks nice, very farmhouse style (not the style of the room lol). It looks used without being dirty. I’m happy with the cleaner. It did a good job. I use a blue scotch pad to clean the brick. I haven’t used the glass cleaner yet.

Good Product
The product is good, a little more elbow grease needed to scrub and loosen up soot but if you spray and scrub a couple of times it works pretty good. Strong smelling

Didn’t work as well as I had hoped
I think this product would work on light soot stains that are new, so regular cleaning on brick this might be fine. We purchased to clean a firebox and brick surround in anticipation of a new wood stove installation. This had never been scrubbed before. We scrubbed (using a drill with scrubber that matched the stiffness of the included brush) and we were a bit disappointed with the result. We will give it second go around though (and the directions do say this might be needed for heavy stains), but we were hoping for more. BTW, this didn’t clean the grout between the bricks at all for some reason…not sure there is anything better on the market but just not what we expected.

Cleans chimney and soot best ever
We had a tenant in our house with a fire place have no idea what they were burning and how. Thank God they didn't burn our house down. I have tried different ways to clean nothing worked. I came across this product on Amazon and the reviews were good so I figure I would try as a last resort, and it was very I expensive so I wasn't losing anything. Although I read the direction I was surprised to see that this was a very thick product. I shot the bottle up to hopefully soften slightly to make it come out of the bottle easier, it did. I sprayed the brick first with water, then applied the gel with the brush and gave it a good scrub then let it sit for 10- 15 min, came back scrub a little more then rinsed off with hot water. It looked good but decided a second coat might make it look better, repeated the process and it looks al.ost brand new. I didn't do the I side yet as I was excited about this product and wanted to do a review first.

Didn't work... at all!
This product did nothing other than wet the glass on my fireplace doors. I thought it would be like an oven cleaner and melt away the black soot. It didn't. It was no more effective than plain water. Waste of money. Buy oven cleaner.

Wouldn’t Recommend
Not impressed with the results. This took an entire bottle of their cleaning solution. Shipping was super slow. A lot of effort and elbow grease for minimal improvement and left some areas dirtier than when I started. A lot of rinsing required. May be ok for small job. But I personally feel like I wasted my money and 2 hrs of my life
