I’ve used this multiple times on multiple makes of vehicles new and old: GM, Chrysler, ford, Honda, Subaru, Toyota. The connection were firm and solid. Fittings seem of quality. If I had a complain it would be the case is difficult to pack the hoses away neatly but at the end of the day they do fit. Doesn’t include an r134a adapter, I have several but seemed a little misleading since you’ll need that to do that system. The quick shut offs are great and vacuum port is essential. Would recommend for the price.

Used this on my 5th generation RAV4, absolutely perfect! Others have left reviews saying connections don't work correctly, can taps are bad, etc. maybe they got a bad one, I won't judge, but I used every piece of this kit and I can find NOTHING to complain about! The can tap required a little more tightening than it initially felt like it did, but once I figured it out, it was actually very good. Remember, 1234yf taps are LEFT HAND THREAD. Honestly I was a bit nervous about this purchase, but I am nothing but pleased.UPDATE: I have now had the opportunity to use this kit a several more times on different vehicles, and again am nothing but happy about the quality of the unit. The only gripe I have is that the case is just too small to CONVENIENTLY place the hoses in for storage. You can get them in there, but it's more of a challenge than it should be. ALL the similar kits from every brand appear to use the same case, so what are you gonna do? At any rate, as I mentioned earlier, maybe someone indeed got a bad one, but if you know what you are doing, I see no issues with this product.By the way, always replace valve cores when you recharge, as they are known to fail after a few years, and its inexpensive. Be sure to buy yourself a valve core torque tool so you don't overtighten the valve cores when you put new ones in, supposedly that's the number one cause of core failures. Good luck!

It works good, but I did not think the can taps supplied worked well with new style cans. I got other can taps and the gauges worked fine. If the refrigerant wasn't so expensive I would just get a bulk bottle as I have EPA cert adn not deal with the can BS .

So far so great, used them on 2 vehicles i replaced compressors on. Feels great quality, have good weight to everything, the clips for box probably wont last being the plastic material

I purchased this set to replace a worn-out ATD manifold set. The package arrived intact and was well-packed. After trying to use the set for an A/C charging job, my impression is the following:1) The manifold and control valve knobs were well-crafted with quality aluminum, operating the control valves are effortlessly.2) The high and low gauges were encased in a plastic molding, they are barely adequate for viewing. As pointed out by some buyers' comments, the LOW side gauge is really hard to read in any light condition due to black lettering on a blue background. In low light, the back lettering would disappear into the blue background (see pic). I had a really hard time reading it! It would have been perfect if the design was white lettering on a blue background.3) The two R134A, and R1234yf adapter sets, and the R1234yf canister adapter are solid metal with aluminum control valves, which are smooth to operate. No R134A canister adapter was provided.4) The provided hoses are "budget" quality, stiff nylon hoses with cheap brass fittings and hard nylon seals. The fittings, whose tolerant are out of spec that they came loose easily, causing leaks. I've tried to tighten them down more than usual, but not helpful, so I had to swap them out with a set of the Yellow Jacket hoses to finish the job (see pic's).5) The set is also equipped with a valve core tool, a stubby screwdriver, and a small collection of seals and O rings in a small container.6) The plastic case is made of light plastic with plastic latches for opening and closing. The two halves of the case are kept together with soft plastic hinges in the back. The case is okay for DIY light uses, but it may not last for professional uses due to daily uses.In summary, this may be a set for DIY folks on a budget if you can live with the negative attributes described in above. It is not recommended for professional auto techs. I had several OMT products, but this set is below my expectations for typical OMT quality products.
