American crew is the only product I need in my hair. It holds and has a matte finish all day in my hair. It’s super easy to put in and doesn’t leave residue everywhere. This forming cream is a great alternative to hair gel. It has a sticky and more watery consistency. You just need a little bit. When my husband used hair gel, my niece used to joke and call him “Pokey” because his hair was so spiky and hard. Now his hair has a lot more flexibility, while still retaining the volume and thickness of his hair.I will sometimes use a dab in my hair to smooth away fly aways. The 3oz lasts a really long time. Maybe 3 - 4 months. I can check my Amazon history but the point is - this jar will last you a long time! Hold is good, shine feels right. It’s definitely sticky! Takes a second to get off your hands and make sure you don’t get one big glob on your hair because then it gets gooey.
