Extra nice cold press cotton paper
This watercolor paper is some of the nicest I have tried. I love the fact that it’s cotton, it’s 140 pound, and of course the size that I have 10.1 x 7.4“ is perfect for my needs. It is not, too rough.. I have got it pretty wet with the wash and it seems to be fine. It makes a nice curvy shape and then it flattens out quite nicely as it dries. I’ve used it for ink and wash and also with gouache with multi layers, I am including a picture of one that has been completely wet and then one that where I was playing Around with the mixed media gouache, ink and metallic overlay. I don’t know how well I’ve succeeded, but I’m trying to show that it does not buckle like a lot of other papers do.All in all, I highly recommend this paper. I definitely am going to be buying it again and in different sizes. I do realize when you get larger, it might need to be stretched but for this size and smaller it’s perfect as is. The only thing I would change is that I would love Some bright white.

Excellent quality watercolor paper!
I read one of the reviews that this is as good as the Arches watercolor paper and it is TRUE! I didn’t pay attention to the actual size so I was surprised that this pad is smaller than the standard Arches pads I usually buy. So this paper is probably similar in price to Arches after all. That said, I like the size because I am able to easily cut in half and make watercolor thank you notes. I WILL order again!!

Fairly good
The paper is what you pay for. Adequate but.not outstanding. I’m not dissatisfied because it’s inexpensive. Watercolors float on the surface before absorption but lift well. There wasn’t much buckling but I only purchased a small pad.

My new favorite watercolor paper
The media could not be loaded. Strathmore is my usual watercolor paper but I sometimes get Arches -- I wasn't expecting this to be as nice as those but I definitely prefer it to Strathmore and it's almost as good as Arches for a much better price. Nice and thick, and for me the texture is what I prefer most, not smooth and not too stippled.

Nice paper
I like to try different watercolor papers, it’s kind of an obsession of mine. I especially like when I use a relatively inexpensive paper and it behaves like a very expensive brand. If you are looking for an affordable paper that behaves like the so-called “best” (that begins with an A) try this one.
