Brilliant stuff. This saved me having to drain down the radiators in order to fix a tiny weep. The resin is easy to mix by hand, and even easier to use. It's particularly helpful that you can then paint over the resin once dried - and it dries rock solid! I hesitated about buying it initially, as it seemed pretty expensive, but I'm definitely a convert now. I think it's worth having a pack in emergency house supplies, as anyone can use it...and because you have to mix together two separate compounds to make it active, you can store the remainder without it curing, unlike some other leak fixes which, once opened, are then useless for later jobs. The instruction leaflet may raise a smile - it proudly gives highlights of all the places it's been used...it's the only South African product to have been taken into space....and it's been used to mend a Green Turtle's damaged shell, for example!

I have used this product for years, but recently I made a hook in my pantry, made new knobs for my toaster when the original plastic ones broke, and fixed a headphone set where the plastic knob thing broke off the metal holder that holds the ear section in place. So now I can wear them again. It doesn't have to be used for huge jobs. 🙂 I have also used it in the past to make lid handles and pot (saucepan) handles. I was so happy to be able to buy this even though I now live in the UK. Thank you. 👏👏👏

I used this for filling some fairly large cracks in our concrete below-ground pool. I used it just above the waterline and then raised the pool back up and it seems to be holding well. It is easy to mix the two sticks and easy to apply. I didn't find it particularly messy and with a wet finger it provided a smooth finish that I have now tiled over using underwater silicon. My only gripe was that there was only enough putty to do about 40cm of a crack about 5mm wide; I guess that is about the size of the job rather than the size of the packet, but I had to buy a second one to finish the job, which makes it quite an expensive way of repairing large jobs. But for a fast solution, which was my primary need, I'd certainly treat it as the go-to pool repair product.

1 x Pratley Original Waterproof Adhesive Epoxy Putty 125g 80211 New Pratley Putty is an awesome epoxy putty that will set underwater, but washes off your hands with plain water, sets like concrete and can be sanded, drilled, filed etc. I used this to get me out of a fix with a leaking drain valve on my campervan water tank. Also plugged a hole in my water butt - didn't have to worry about rain filling the butt back up as Pratleys Putty sets under water. Have fixed some broken welds on my patio chairs too. I always keep some at home and in the campervan for any emergencies.

As far as adhesion goes great. It's fairly easy to open but in my opinion not value for money.
