Obviously this is not as good as a professional sun shade, I have called it a sun shade because that’s what it is, this is very good value for the money but it is not a matte box. A matte box has a filter unit whereas this unit does not so officially it’s not a matte box it’s a sun shade, but for what it is it’s a good unit, easy to use and not to flimsy.

I really don't understand how some matte boxes can cost so much. Okay, this doesn't have any filter holders but it certainly does the job of blocking extraneous light which surely is the whole point. Heartily recommended.

My Sigma 82mm (24-70mm) lens doesn't fit into this. It's my main lens so it's disappointing. A few millimeters and I'm sure it would fit. I'm a big fan of the Neewer brand so I wont let this put me off. I know the Sigma 82mm is a bit bulky.It may very well work with a Canon 24-70 as they don't have these rims that the Sigma has.Overrall, the product is sturdy and at a budget price, so can't complain there.

Brilliant for what it is. I have used these for years and considering how light and cheap these are, they last a long time.

This is not really a matte-box, which is a bellows like device and usually very expensive as they also take filters. As barn doors, these fulfil their purpose and are very good value. They fit to the rails of the Neewer small rig, with a firm fit and the screw knobs keep them tight on the rails: these knobs are the Achilles heel of the product, I suspect, as they feel very cheep and insubstantial: they work and you can change them. One reviewer made the point that their camera tripod screw is not placed centrally under the lens, so check for this. Otherwise they are adjustable for lens length and for height. They are adjustable so should keep extraneous light from the front element of your lens: especially important if you are carrying a video light on your rig.

Hace años compré todo un rig completo con los accesorios. La caja Matte Neewer no le pide NADA a la otra que tengo, cuenta con todas las funciones y cumplen muy bien para proucciones pensadas en una relación funcionalidad-costo. Como todo equipo de este tipo, recomiendo darle un trato adecuado y limpieza para que dure años. Satisfecho con mi compra.

Me llego antes el producto parece estar en excelentes condiciones el material es bueno yo voy hacer una mexicana para adaptarlo a mi cámara

Product is great for the price

Muy buen precio, grandes puertas de granero con un buen hueco para lentes de diámetro considerable y excelente fijación tanto sobre el raíl de 15 mm como de las puertas sobre el parasol. Es puro plástico y carece de ciertas utilidades de mate box que cuestan de 20 a 100 veces más.

En las ventajas tiene que es muy ligero, cumple con su cometido, y es muy económico.En lo negativo señalar que es de plástico, sin bien por su precio no lo veo nada importante.Eso si, tiene un defecto de diseño que impide apretar la palometa de altura en algunos sistemas. Aunque nada grave. Lo solventé enseguida con un par de arandelas.Buena compra por menos de 20 euros.
