Energy Bar - Protein Bar | Blueberry Almond Crisp | Plant Based Protein | 12 x 68 g

Ive tried quite a lot of oat based snack bars found in most mainstream supermarkets and many of them despite boasting about all the 100% natural and organic ingredients that they use are either way too sweet, taste like plastic or arent very filling at all! This is my first time trying out CLIF bars but Ive known about them for many years through the various cycling groups im affiliated with but never bought in to the hype till they went on offer and I decided to try them out. Choc Chip seems to be the most popular pick so thats what I went with and I can honestly say that it is GREAT. Id go as far as saying its an absolute GAMECHANGER for me personally having tried so many oat based snack bars till this point in time! The taste is VERY VERY NEUTRAL. There is no synthetic aroma or taste from this product. It is also not very sweet or overly sweet at all despite containing 18g of sugar per bar. 18g is still a fair bit so you wouldnt want to be throwing a lot of these down as if its the final meal you're ever going to eat. Its not too dry and does not require any water to help wash it down with which is great. It just melts in the mouth. These are oh so filling if you eat the entire bar. So I highly suggest breaking it in to halves. But if you consume an entire bar. Its likely to keep you full or comfortable for more than a good few hours. These are best consumed on long hikes, marathons, bike rides or any outdoor activity where youre not sure if youre going to have a moment to eat a good lunch. This 68g bar will have you covered. In future. Im more likely to buy the box of smaller bars instead of the 68g. But at least I can carry two bars when out on a fishing trip and not have to worry about food.

Tastes great. If you look at the Amazon.com website you can see it is vegetarian and kosher. Had about 3 months expiry date.

Wether you go for the smaller bars or the larger one's Clif bars are brilliant, they keep moist , tasty, and keep you going until the next cafe stop.

They seems very sweet, but overall flavor is very nice and they definitely help to maintain energy during outdoor adventures. For me Cliff works much better than other protein bars, because it is always high quality and really do the job.

Clif energy bars deliver a solid energy boost and come in a variety of tasty flavors, the chocolate almond fudge are the ones I purchased. However, they don’t fare well in warm/hotweather—melting and becoming sticky, which makes them messier to handle. I also find them quite dense and tough to chew and swallow, especially during intense activity. That said, their nutrient content and convenience still make them a decent option for cooler-day fueling or post-workout recovery.
