BELLA2 Slice Toaster with Auto Shut Off - Extra Wide Slots & Removable Crumb Tray and Cancel, Defrost & Reheat Function - Toast Bread, Bagel & Waffle, Sage

Okay so...our 3rd toaster in 5 yrs conked out (as is the case with toasters it seems), so we wanted to find one that looked nice, was simple and didn't cost too much. We found this cute little red one,reasonably priced. It arrived fairly quick. I gave it a quick wipe with alcohol spray and a paper towel on the outside. Plugged it in tried all the settings and worked right away flawlessly. I liked that it toasted the bread in half the time that our old "loser" toaster did (so win-win). It also has a feature on it for frozen items, which has really come in handy. You can also make the toast raise up a little so that you won't burn your fingers getting it out (but we use wooden tongs anyway, so haven't needed to try that). The slots are wide enough (but not overly wide, so they would not be useful for extra wide bread slices...the kind you'd see with belgium waffles or something. But wide enough for slightly larger bread, so that's good.The bright red is nice but not obnoxiously red. We even got a compliment on it from a visitor. Nothing else in the kitchen is red, so it stands out, but not so much to say "HEY...OVER HEEEEERE!" All together, we like it a lot. It's lightweight, pretty and works fast,easy to clean too. I'd give it an A+ 5 stars so far. It's only been a week or two, so in 6-12 months from now, if it conks out, I'll update this review. But so far, I cannot think of any negatives on it.

Value for money, looks nice and works great.

This toaster is just perfect for my house hold. My roommate like his bread warm with no color on it. I like mine just short of black. So we were turning it up and down constantly. I needed to get a new toaster when my previous one died. I love the red color. It matches my I try her items I. My house. The toast comes. Out exactly as we both like I. He gets one side, I use the other. It works well and is easy to adjust the length of time to get darker color. It makes the toast perfect for both of us. It gets warm, but not hot.

Very Nice toaster. Its not ginormous on my counter but its a mighty toaster.Toasts thin bread, thick bread, bagels and handles them all well and toasts them perfectly.Operates with ease, lightness darkness dial works perfectly.Has a selection for defrosting and toasting from frozen which is great.Even has a Gluten Free toasting button option.And the button for the function selected lights up while toasting so you are aware when the toaster is in use, and that the selection you made is the one you are using.No crumbs all over the counter due to crumb tray that is nice and snug but easy to remove and empty and clean.Also when it pops up when done its not a loud violent launch with flying toast, its gentle but loud enough to let you know your toast is ready without scaring the crap out of you.The color is beautiful and as shown on photo, looks beautiful on my counter.Overall very pleased!

Great toaster! Cute color, works well and it even has an option for toasting gluten-free items that take more time than regular wheat items.

This toaster is visually pleasing and works beautifully but suffers from truly idiotic design. This is my second appliance from Bella (I own one of their tea kettles, and I adore it!). My primary concern is absurd position Bella chose for this toaster’s electric cord. They placed it at the front of the right panel, essentially directly beside the toaster’s lever and controls - this is nearly the most illogical place they could’ve housed the cord. The only way it could be worse would be if they placed it under the lever/control panel itself. Making matters worse, the cord is ridiculously short. The toaster is a little over 9” long and the cord is about 27”. This means you only have 18” of usable cord. To be frank, the people at Bella need to get over themselves. It’s obvious that they intend the user to store the toaster horizontally, with the Bella logo facing outward as if this were some showpiece, status-evoking branded appliance. While it looks nice enough, it’s made of matte plastic. The overall product “feel” is substantially cheaper than I anticipated given my experience with their tea kettle. Bottom line, there’s nothing remarkable or luxurious about this toaster and there’s absolutely no reason to surrender that much countertop real estate to it. I don’t know anyone who would normally store a toaster this way - and the Bella logo isn’t a compelling reason to take your more space and deliberately face the controls away from the user.I decided to keep the toaster since my other (different brand) toaster died, but I would’ve returned it under different circumstances. It does the job, but the design is completely impractical. If the Bella brand means something special to you, buy it! If not, definitely skip this one!
