Great item food tastes lovely especially veg

Very handy for me, no washing up lol. Good size bags, hold a lot of veg etc, but can be a little temperamental at times with my fiddly fingers! I have to rip the sticky sealer strip slowly as the bags are prone to rip otherwise. I don't really recommend putting them in the freezer as they tend to go quite brittle when you go to transport to the microwave! But I do recommend this product. Price is not too bad either.

Previously I was buying those bags of pre-packed frozen veg at quite a hefty price. Not any more. It's great for bagging up fresh veg or even buying a big bag of frozen veg and making up your own bags for steaming later. Saving a fortune!

I have been using these at work so I can have steamed vegetable with my lunch, which I prepare the night before and just put into a bag to carry and cook in the microwave. I‘ve even made steamed chicken, cooked from raw to make a chinese dish - to the amazement of my work colleagues. I would recommend - but be carful handling when they come out of the microwave… very hot!

These bags are absolutely amazing, So useful and easy to use. Makes cooking frozen veg super quick with no pans to wash up 🙂

I usually buy Sainsburys microwave bags but as the store is not close to me, I decided to look for an alternative and found these - the reviews seemed good. For me however, the bags are very flimsy and on a couple of occasions have burst open inside the microwave spilling my veg all over the inside despite following the specific instructions about ensuring the 3cm gap when you fold down the top. Once the food has cooked I also find the bags difficult to remove from the microwave as they are too soft and you need to be careful not to burn yourself. Overall for me they serve a purpose but don't think I would buy them again.
