One For All Contour TV Universal Remote with Learning URC1210

After a lifetime of growing up being forced to watch Ski Sunday in the 80's, I decided it was time for a little payback this Xmas. I bought this for one purpose and it served its purpose well: Changing the TV channel at my Dad's house on my annual visit. Top Gear? More like Nope Gear. The Antiques Roadshow? Try the Antiques NO Show. His house his rules - my remote, my choice. Speedy set up while Dad was out for his walk. Easy to hide the remote behind the sofa after changing the channel. No problems, no regrets, a tolerable Christmas visit and got my Christmas shopping from The Jewellery Channel while he was fiddling with the TV arial. Great value for money. Buttons worked great. Will get my money's worth out of it all over again come the World Cup.

Remote is amazing. Works on multiple TVs (works on LG and SAMSUNG TV). A little confusing at first but instructions are super clear and its easy to connect. Feels nice and smooth. The quality is great. Mine came through the package with the box open which was weird but thankfully there's nothing wrong with it. I would recommend!

Excellent product, feels solid, compatible with loads of different tv brands, easy to set up, set up and used it in minutes, seamless replacement, buttons etc work perfectly.

Brought these as my dad spilled tea over original control. Did hold out much hope, this is fantastic it paired with the samsung tv by itself and very easy to use

Bought this to replace remote for our old ( 10 years + too far back to remember!) bush tv when the remote got dropped, fell apart and the dog chewed the soft button part into little pieces before hubby noticed The bush codes supplied didn’t work but as I said it’s really quite an old tv, (or I wasn’t doing it right ) but using the other option for selection which tries all the codes I found one which worked. Was so easy I should have tried that first - you don’t have to keep entering individual codes just keep pressing the one button Yes you do have to just keep trying until one works but it’s quick and easy enough. You just push the setup button press the power button then press the channel change button until the tv turns off then press the setup button again- worked just as the instructions said. I left a second between presses as my tv can have a little lag before responding but within a couple of minutes was all set up and running perfectly. Think I was at about code 39 . Written Instructions were clear, easy to follow and explained briefly the process Bonus is it’s reprogrammable if we want to use it for something else and you can program specific buttons to your choice of function. next day delivery also a great bonus

Work for a while then a button lose its function.

We have a Hitachi TV and it's a few years old and the remote stopped working. Tried all the codes in the book for Hitachi but could switch it on and off but nothing else. I tried the 2nd method listed which goes through every code in the remote and hopefully you get to the one that operates your TV. That didn't work either. There's a 3rd method where you can copy the individual code for each button from another handset. Not much good if the handset you're trying to replace is dead. Fortunately for us we have another Hitachi set in one of the bedrooms and it has an identical remote to the dead one. My wife was fetching it up and down the stairs to use on both sets. So I tried the 3rd method and went through each button to try and copy it onto this one. Success! It now fully operates the TV, and a lot more responsive than the original handset. I think that the codes didn't work on our set because of it's age, but if you have a newer one you may have more success. Luckily we had the 2nd remote to copy from and if we hadn't I would have had to return this one. Very pleased......... in the end.

Versuch macht kluch...;-) Ich habe einen älteren NAD CD Player, bei dem die Fernbedienung nicht mehr korrekt funktioniert hatte. Im Netz fand ich einen sehr billigen Ersart mit einer etwas merkwürdigen Tastenbelegung. Aber immerhin diese funktionierte. Die one for All Contour gefiel mir aber vom schlichten Design und der Möglichkeit , die Tasten nach meinen Bedürfnissen selbsterklärend zu belegen aber viel besser. Aber würde es funktionieren die Tstenfunktionen auf die one for all zu übertragen? Ja, es hat funktioniert, sogar recht einfach. Kleines Gimmick am Rande. Die Lautstärke am Verstärker kann ich mit dieser FB ebenfalls regeln. Ich finde die FB sieht sogar viel besser als dieses klobige Original-Teil aus. Einziger Wermuthstropfen: 1 Tag nach Erhalt hat sich der Preis um 3 EUR reduziert...

Deze afstandsbediening is geweldig. Eerder andere geprobeerd die ofwel snel weer kapot waren of totaal niet werkten besloot ik om voor deze universele te gaan. Stevig en de toetsen voelen ook goed aan. Wel even goed kijken hoe het werkt met instellen, handig om te weten want we probeerden eerst om het in te stellen via de tv dat lukte niet maar toen het typenummer opgezocht met bijbehorende code in de gebruiksaanwijzing. Daarna deed ie het perfect.

Debo decir que pocas veces pongo 5 estrellas a algún producto que compro ya que para mí 5 estrellas tiene que ser algo top. En este caso me ha sorprendido gratamente ya que ya había comprado otros mandos universales y no estaban nada mal. Este creo que es perfecto por precio sencillez de configuración y material del producto. En mi caso uno original de un TV INVES me costaba 50€ para mis padres. Lo recomiendo 100x100 para ser un mando universal. Una cosa importante, si perdemos 5 min. A leer las instrucciones, veréis que existe la opción de buscar el código de las tv por un listado, pero tb la opción de que lo haga por nosotros automáticamente, esto es perfecto para TV con marcas fuera de lo habitual.

Bought this to try connect to a really old crt tv for my video game room. This was the only remote I could find that didn’t mention only working with smart tv’s. Went through all the codes in the instructions and paired perfectly with the last one. It is working perfectly and am now able to switch to av mode which was the whole reason for purchasing as there are limited button controls on the tv.
