I had leads with a jack on each end - green ones for speakers on PCs and I thought that that would do to plug my iphone 5 into my car now that the lead that came with the car (old iphone/ipod) no longer fitted. Due to the gel case on my phone the jack wouldn't go in properly and the sound was intermittent or non existent. These though are great. The step means that the cse does not get in the way and I can deafen myself to my hearts content on the way home from work. I was also glad that it was only 0.5m - I do not want metres of cable coiled up in my car looking untidy. I obviously don't know that this lead will last for years, but it appears well made and being gold plated should resist corrosion to some extent. I am now going to order a second one for the docking station that also doesn't work (even with an adaptor) unless I take the case off each time. Excellent price, free delivery and arrived 2 days after ordering.

make sure you read the description properly as it's a very short cable! i managed to swap my active speakers round so it's no drama. (my fault) lol this cable is brilliant quality it's literally breathed new life into my speakers. before i thought i was gonna have to buy new speakers coz the sound was crackling and one speaker would stop working now and then, every time i turned the volume up or down it would distort! they wouldn't sound right at high levels like they used to a couple of years back. bought this cable ALL of that has stopped thank god! £2.99 is a bit of a difference to £130 you can imagine the relief.

Bought this cable to link my pocket projector to some speakers. The cable appears to be well made and the jacks are well constructed. I can see this cable lasting for quite a while which is all we want really isn't it?

Good price and delivered quickly. I use this lead to plug my ipod into my car, had no problems with it at all. My input jack is near to my handbrake, so plugging ipod or phone in is not a problem. However if your input is on your console you may gind this lead too short.

Awful!!! Worked once, then discovered it was such an awful product, on only the 2nd day!! I was a bit dubious on purchase as they were cheap, but thought I would take a chance-but I should’ve known better, because you certainly ‘get what you pay for’ here 😳

Does the job. Use it for connecting my phone to speakers and it doesn't seem to have any problems.Good quality wire, feels durable.
