There is a lot to like about this light, however, the focal adjustment was of little value. I was using to reflect off of a disco ball and the beam spread beyond 10' is larger than the 12" ball I was using and could not be made smaller. Due to room layout, I was needing to position 20' or 30' from ball and so the beam diameter was about 6' diameter with no way to adjust down to a 12" diameter.

I have a disco ball hanging in the center of my yurt. -don't ask...This light is mounted on one of the rafters and shines on the ball. The size and brightness is perfect.The controls, remote, works well. The colors are nice and bright. You can set the timing of the fade and jump settings (changing colors). The light doesn't have a switch, so if you lose the remote... um, I don't know what.It is bright, colorful, responds to the remote, and makes nice little spinning balls of light on the walls when the ball is rotating.

The media could not be loaded.  I like the sturdiness of this Spot Light and the built-in lighting effects are nice. The mount that is comes with is for professional applications like stage lighting or on a light tree and requires and adapter (not included) to with a standard camera tripod. The different colors have a visible offset so when projected, you get different circles on the subject depending on which color you are using and you can see the change as it switches from color to color.

We have a fabulous disco ball in our living room but it’s not motorized so it doesn’t spin. I didn’t care when we got it and loved it anyway. The ceiling it’s hanging from is not wired. As much as I’ve loved it stationary, my lord how it came live when we shined this light on it flashing through its various colors! It gives the sense of a true spinning disco ball. With the multiple angles the light can be set up as, we have it pointing to the exact spot that makes the most visually impact on the disco ball. With the included remote, will be an easy flick of a button to light up the disco ball at the drop of a hat! Thanks to this light I love my disco ball even more!

Watch the video that's listed by the seller, the product is literally that. The spot is very tight and has some minor size and color adjustments. At $30 this is going to be great to put some light on a disco ball or use a few of them for stage effects but those looking to use this for photography will want to spend more on a spotlight with a wider range of adjustments.

Not the brightest light that I've ever seen, but it is a really cool effect for anyone looking for an affordable spot light. Really easy to mount and use also.
