Nice, but a bit expensive for what it is
I have a number of folders and all the stuff to sharpen them to a fine edge. But, setting it all up and doing it takes a lot of time, so when I saw this knife with replaceable blades, I bought it to use for incidental chores around the house & shop. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews, but I've had none of the problems others said they had. Some say the blade rattles, mine doesn't. Others said it comes open in their pocket, mine doesn't, and the mechanism to keep the blade closed seems pretty robust. The workmanship seems first rate and it has features found on larger folders, e.g., a well performing liner lock, flipper for opening the blade, etc. However, while the flipper works well, finding a way to hold this little guy while opening it is a bit of an issue - it is small, and my hands fit a large glove size. But I finally got the hang of it, and I like the small size. One downside is the blade retention system takes up a lot of space and the part closest to the handle and prevents slicing through thick items. And finally, I think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but I'll keep it anyway.

Nice build quality for price.
Like others have stated, I’m happily surprised at the build quality of this knife for the price. Little stiff opening but I guess that’s not a bad thing with scalpel blades that sharp and no pocket clip. Also, like others have mentioned, there should be only one flipper tab, it’s sometime difficult to open in low light other than feeling for the liner lock . All in all a great little knife.

Nice little scalpel knife but a bit too small for me..
The media could not be loaded. This scalpel knife looks to be well designed and decent quality. The frame is titanium (I tested with a small neodymium magnet), while the clip is probably a steel alloy so that it better maintains its spring tension when clipped in your pocket. It has a carbon fiber inlay in the handle, and the weave reflects the light in a neat way. The flick-open action is as I would expect. Slight "trigger-like" resistance at first, to hold it closed against accidental deployment, then rapid action all the way open, and a satisfying click as the frame lock engages at the end. There are a couple of slight detents along the travel, which are probably there to help you keep the blade under control when closing it. Overall I like it, but it is a bit too small to handle easily when opening one-handed. You have to watch the positioning to avoid your palm being in the path of the tip of the blade when it starts opening. The knife's size is intended to allow it to hook onto your keychain, but I would have preferred it to be a bit longer for better handling. This doesn't strike me as an EDC knife made for heavy use and taking abuse, but it is quite good for precision cutting and slicing. I'm actually a little nervous about carrying it around, where I would be regularly reaching into my pocket with a razor flip knife clipped in there. So, even though I like this knife so far, to be my EDC knife it would really need to be about 1 inch longer and have a mechanism that locks it in the closed position.

Slick little knife set
UPDATE: My mom still loves the scalpel kit and uses it daily. She also bought one for me. I've been using mine as a box cutter and craft knife for cardboard, which is bad for the blade yes, but - it can just be swapped out! That's the beauty of a scalpel - you can get a different blade shape or a brand new blade whenever you want. When you move on from one craft to another, the knife can move on with you. It'll never sit collecting dust because it can become just about whatever knife you need it to.I got this for my mom, who is a taxidermist. She wanted a folding scalpel so she could get better organized and have less blades lying around her table. Not only does this scalpel solve that problem, it comes with a metal case. So it's a complete kit - it has storage for everything. The scalpel is a friction lock, so it does not go totally rigid. If you press on the back of the blade, it will start to fold in. So it takes a bit more skill to use this knife, but you can also lean on it with your thumb. I think it would be a good whittling or carving knife.Overall, it's a good gift and it pulls its weight very well as an EDC item. Many people like making survival kits out of small tins, and this set here is a good start for a kit like that. It's very hard to do better than this for ten bucks.

Awesome little thing.
Very small knife - fits inside the watch-pocket of a pair of jeans, making either a nice little backup to a primary pocket-knife or a small hidden primary knife. The indent for the ball-bearing that keeps the blade closed is fairly deep, so this is safe to carry - it won't open accidentally and even using the flipper takes a little force. As for the liner-lock, it seems pretty robust - thick metal and I don't see how it could move by itself.I had to bend the nose of the pocket-clip back a little bit with a pair of pliers to allow it to slip over the thickness of a jeans' pocket, but that took 10 seconds. I'm happy with this little knife and would buy it again, maybe as small gifts for friends.

you get what you pay for
i know its a cheap knife and i expected issues due to this. first thing should be a little lock-tight in the screws bc as with all cheap knives they will back out. it came with 10 blades and they are RAZOR sharp. they are prone to breaking if you try and treat it as a regular knife but that should be expected. i primarily use this like box cutter. or for any electricians handling large kcmill wire i use it to peel damaged sections off wire thats been pulled. blades are a bit weird to buy online not as common as you would hope.
