Open just fine, the silver finish looks great, the small size and included case is great for hobby desks, small so super easy to bring along if ever needed. The only thing is closing the blade, BE CAREFUL, YOU MIGHT CUT YOUR FINGER, it's so sketchy due to the tension or whatever it is that makes it snap out of it folded out position in a jumping manour

Great little knife. I have it, hang one around my neck. Thing is a can’t get a new blade on it. If you google how to do it you get some simple instructions. “Slips right on”… Nope. If you ask AI and tell it you are having difficulty’s getting a blade replacement on it says “It’s a known problem.” So it’s not just me. I love the knife so much I just bought another one and I’ll keep trying to get that new blade on. Using the extra blades it came with so not wrong babe #. For the life of me I can’t get the replacement blade in as shown in instructions. Again, invaluable knif for me. Be a bit careful, that blade will snap in you. Despite my issues getting new blade on I absolutely love it.

Cons - 1. Not a flipper. Requires two hands to open. 2. Not a frame lock. Blade does not lock forward securely. In the wrong situation, it could collapse on your fingers. An unlikely but possible scenario. 3. Knives without the above 'cons' are available at only slightly greater cost. 4. Suitable only for slicing. The blades fracture very easily if used for any other purpose. True of all scalpel knives. 5. The 'clip' is far too tight to slide over most anything. Who would use the clip anyway? Pros - 1. Very inexpensive. 2. Very sharp (it's a scalpel). 3. Replacement blades are very inexpensive. 4. Very small. Keychain appropriate. 5. An excellent utility blade to keep in your console or on your keychain. Don't be without one or it's equivalent. Conclusion - A good buy. Buy several and and share them with friends.

the best ability is availability this is always in my pocket and will cut hay bale strings round bale netting and amazon package tape. I use it daily the extra blades are just great to have

This is a simply designed and very solidly built scalpel knife. I'm glad I bought a couple, and likely will buy a few to give as modest very handy gifts. Keep in mind this knife uses an actual disposable steel scalpel blade. It's not intended to be resharpened. You very easily remove the blade when it is dull, and insert a new blade.

Exactly as described. Blades are sharp and knife is fairly safe to use. Basic friction lock and perfect size to keep on a keychain. Came with additional blades so I won’t have to buy any extras for at least a short while. Great value for under $10

Smaller than it appears in photos unless that is a small child holding the knife but the dimensions are listed so that's on me for not looking better and as always it's listed as same day delivery until you pay then it switches to next day of course but the item itself is fairly well made and is good for key chain
