Highly recommend
These work awesome. I had them on my trip to Germany and went up to the highest mountain, the Zugspitz and these kept me from freezing. I put them in my coat pockets and when I wasn't wearing my gloves I kept them in my pockets so when I put them back on they were toasty. I put them in my boots and even on my lower back, over clothes or it's too hot, and it works like thermacare. A friend had another brand that didn't work as well.

Compact Package Delivers Warmth for Hours
These hand warmers were a life saver during our recent trip to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. We found a viewing spot in Central Park, and after standing around for a while waiting for the parade to start, we were getting quite cold, so we slipped the hand warmers into our gloves and enjoyed the gentle warmth for hours. They don't warm your fingers, however, so we solved that problem by holding the fingers in the palm of the other hand near the hand warmer packet. Next time I go to such an outdoor event in cold weather, I will bring along mittens rather than gloves, so that the hand warmer can do a better job of keeping the fingers warm. Now, if only such a device would work on your feet...
