Worked exactly as advertised. Prying is perfect, and actually works better than even my flatbar. As for the nail holder that was awesome. Kept the 15 year old shingles intact. Only replaced 1/2 the roof

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I used this Roof Snake tool for a recent shingle repair project and it worked perfectly. This tool is a huge help when replacing shingles. It allows you to reach under the shingle on top to nail the one below without damaging the one on top. The tool is well made, and seems very durable. It holds a roofing nail securely, even though it doesn't have a magnet. It is on the heavy side (23 oz, 632g), but that is due to it's solid construction. The finish also seems very durable. This tool worked out very well

I'm used it for tile roof, I needed to remove the first line of tile roof and install it back, with the help of this snake bar it was two or three times faster than I did it before, I recommend it, I worked with it not at all delicately, nothing jammed or cracked, the metal is of high quality, the only thing I would like is a magnetized nail holder, it would be just perfect, take it and don’t think about it, you can hammer nails with both ends, you just need to get the hang of it a little.

this tool allows me to drop in new tiles in my roof without affecting the surrounding tiles. one end allows you to hammer the nail just under the bottom side of the top tile. I used 6" roofing nails for my spanish tiles. the nails were thick so they don't fit in the notch inside the tool but i still managed to place the end on top of the nail head and hammer the nail in. the tool seems durable and you can hammer it extremely hard without breaking it.

Definitely worth the money ❗️❗️❗️I bought one of the cheaper ones that broke the second time.. I used the heck out of this one day it works perfectly. One of my Hispanic helpers has had one for two years.

I love this tool. It has made my shingle repair jobs much easier. I am now able to nail shingles without completely removing the next tier of shingles above it. Just get the nail in place and hammer on this tool. It will get it most of the way in. Very effective.

As a homeowner, I don’t wish to go up on the roof to do shingle repairs but when I do have to, this tool is a must have. I had to do some shingle repairs recently in 3 degree Celsius because the roofer I hired botched the job. You need it if you do roof repairs, I don’t think there’s any other tool that does this. It’s a specialty tool and this particular one by PacTool is very durable and well made. The shingle repair job would definitely be harder to complete without this tool especially in the cold and the shingles do not bend as easily anymore so that the hammer can get under them.
