I bought this specifically to use after a medium-strength algae peel (the kind that leaves your skin quite red, raw and peeling for a few days). From the moment I applied it, it felt incredibly soothing. The thick balm texture is rich but not greasy – it sinks in well without leaving a sticky film. The burning and stinging stopped almost immediately, and it kept my skin comfortable throughout the day and night. By day 2, the redness had calmed down noticeably, and by day 4 the peeling had slowed and the new skin underneath looked much smoother and less irritated. What is not to love? If you know LRP products then you know that they are superb quality made specifically for various skin types and needs. This is the balm that is good for everything and I wouldn't be without it. I use it on my face in winter and it is so moisturising and luxurious on my skin. It's a thick cream (balm) that will drag your skin if you don't warm it and apply properly, once on it will feed and nurture your dry, weatherbeaten, central heating battered skin ! If you don't like thick creams, you'll hate this. it has many uses, not just for face but all areas where you need extra moisture; hands, elbows, knees etc. Keep a small one in your bag for emergencies - and because it's LRP you know it's gentle and kind for all skin types, even babies.

I have dry skin and bought Cicaplast after reading many positive reviews. I’ve tried numerous moisturisers in the past, but most of them made my skin feel even drier. This balm was a pleasant surprise. I use it once or twice a day depending on the need. It has a slightly oily consistency, so you only need a small amount, otherwise it can leave your skin greasy with a noticeable white cast. That said, it’s a repair balm, not a regular moisturiser, so a bit of greasiness is expected and even helpful for barrier protection. It makes my skin feel soft and soothed without clogging my pores. One thing to note: the packaging advises not to apply it around the eye contour area, so I’ve avoided that. Overall, it’s a great product for calming and restoring dry, irritated skin; just be mindful of how much you use.

This is my go to cream that I use everyday. It is expensive but has been a godsend when I get eczema and seems to prevent flare ups. I also find my skin texture looks smoother because it tends to repair and maintain the skin barrier. While it is expensive compared to other products, it is very rich and so a little goes a long way. I have tried cheaper equivalents, for instance the Aldi version, and it just doesn't compare. It does leave a white cast when you first apply but then it settles. It is a great night cream as well, and I usually wake up with my skin still looking hydrated. This is an excellent moisturiser.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 is amazing for soothing and repairing irritated skin. It calms redness, helps dry or damaged areas heal faster, and doesn’t clog pores. The texture is rich but not greasy, and it has no strong scent. A little goes a long way. Highly recommended!

Loved it for years, but Cicaplast proved to be a hero product after my ablative laser treatment, when everything else caused irritation. Highly recommended. Even the most sensitive and compromised skin will be nourished and soothed.

Soffro di dermatite esfoliativa e questa crema è diventata per me un vero e proprio trattamento di supporto alla rigenerazione cutanea. La consistenza è molto pastosa e corposa, decisamente più densa rispetto a una crema tradizionale. Proprio per questo motivo va applicata con calma, senza massaggiare in modo aggressivo. Una volta stesa, crea una sorta di film protettivo sulla pelle. Quando la pelle “viva”, lesionata e irritata inizia finalmente a rigenerarsi, si forma una leggera pellicina superficiale: è importantissimo non rimuoverla, perché fa parte del processo di guarigione. Lasciandola agire, giorno dopo giorno, si nota una rigenerazione visibile della pelle lesa, che appare progressivamente più sana, compatta e meno arrossata. Uno degli aspetti che ho apprezzato di più è che non brucia assolutamente, nemmeno sulle zone più compromesse. Al contrario, dona sollievo immediato, calma la sensazione di pelle che tira e riduce il fastidio. È uno di quei prodotti che si “sentono lavorare” in modo delicato ma efficace. Io la utilizzo sempre dopo la doccia, quando la pelle è più sensibile, e la applico in particolare sulle zone critiche del viso, dove la dermatite tende a manifestarsi con maggiore intensità. La crema aiuta a mantenere l’idratazione, protegge la barriera cutanea e accompagna la pelle nel suo naturale processo di riparazione. In conclusione, Cicaplast Baume B5 è molto più di una semplice crema: è un vero supporto per chi ha una pelle fragile, lesionata o in fase di rigenerazione. Per me è diventata irrinunciabile, soprattutto nei periodi più difficili per la mia pelle. 💙 Un prodotto eccellente, affidabile e altamente lenitivo. Non brucia, dà sollievo e aiuta davvero la pelle a riprendersi. La consiglio senza esitazioni a chi soffre di dermatiti o ha bisogno di una crema riparatrice efficace.

Not something La Roche can help, but my product was delivered damaged. It feels like a really heavy cream and also a bit oily-ish. Will continue to use but not sure I’ll rebuy

No se tardó nada en llegar. El producto es original, aunque no viene en cajita sí tiene todo sellado y se ve bastante confiable. Respecto al producto, la relación precio-tamaño me pareció perfecta (suele costar casi igual la presentación más pequeña :(), funciona súper bien para la piel extremadamente seca: calma la picazón por deshidratación.
