Excellent hammer
Another excellent hammer find. For even the experienced blacksmith.

Not worth it
It's flimsy and has less then a 8inch handle. Has round wedges to hold it and came loose. Hammered the wedges in more and still wabbles. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't a $50 hammer

Verified turd on a stick
Very poor quality for the price. Uneven grind all over the head. Out of square on each end. Poor placement on the handle wedges and head is loose. The stain is uneven on the handle and has chips in the wood. Would not recommend purchasing. I will be returning and getting a much better quality turd from Harbor Freight for 1/5 the price.

Well balanced
This is a great working size hammer. The smaller size helps with control and it is well balanced so you can swing it with confidence. The wooden handle is the right size and grips nicely. I would have given this 5 stars but there is a small amount of play when I applied twist to the head. After repeated strikes this will lead to a loose head sooner or later and for the money I don't think it should be so. Easy fix when it does but I should not have been able to feel it. Wish I could have been more positive.

Fun to have a mini-sledge hammer!
I have had a hard time getting my stakes into the ground to support my tender trees. I was able to get three metal green stakes and wire them up finally. I used a wood plank to act as a middle man, but it was just absorbing the energy and splitting. I ended up switching to just the hammer. Hardly any marks to the face of the hammer and the stake drove right into the ground. The hammer does not have a smooth finish except at the faces of it. The sides of the head have some rougher spots. I plan to grab a file and use it somewhat to remove any sharper, catching spots. Other than that, I see no issues with this. I MAY need to redo the handle in the future, but I'll save that for a future issue if that becomes a problem.
