NEW Contour/Contoured Visco Elastic Memory Foam Pillow

This is not bad for the price. It's firm, much firmer than my other similar shaped memory foam pillow. But I didn't find it uncomfortable at all, perhaps because I'm used to these shaped pillows. It helps enable a good nights sleep.It does of course come with that memory foam smell. But I washed it a couple of times and it was much reduced. After a few days or so, it goes.

A bit disappointed in this. It's just a soft squishy thing; most pillows of this type have a firm core to them with just the outer layer being very soft. This flattens out when you lie on it instead of keeping your head raised somewhat.. Time will tell if it becomes softer and softer - it it does, it's useless. If it doesn't get any worse, it will be OK, as at least the bit you are NOT lying on keeps its shape so you don't roll off it.Users who said it pongs when first out of the bag were right. The smell, though not harmful, is very strong and takes about 10 days to moderate right down.

I have used a shaped foam pillow for a couple of years due to a neck injury..Main problem with the one I had was it retained the heat so you woke up in a sweat.. This one doesn't retain heat and I no longer wake up with a sweaty neck which is what I wanted so 5 out of 5 for that.. There is no smell and its easily washed. For those not used to these pillows remember to have the thicker end towards you, may feel strange at first but after a while you get used to it and enjoy the supported feeling.. This will be ideal for travel as its very small...however thats a problem when you have it on a bed as these pillows rattle around inside the pillow cover.. I am now trying to find a full size version...my usual pillows are 26" x 14" these shaped pillows are only 18" x 11"

I have delayed reviewing as I thought testing it out for a month or so a good idea. Glad I did all positive, yes it takes a little time to get used to as it is smaller than an ordinary pillow, it tucks into your neck just at the right place for support weather you sleep on your side or on your back, it makes it easy to sleep on your back I have far less neck pain from my arthritis in my neck in the mornings and I am sleeping much better. I would recommend

I left my original orthopaedic at the hotel in Maldives.Dont think it was a tempur....But had it for years and it hadnt deteriorated in support and function;whereas I have only had this pillow for around a month and it has significantly reduced in hardness and capacity to offer neck support and has thinned significantly as well.I felt I had a bargain initially and to be fair it worked well for around 3 weeks.It has helped my neck issue resolve.I will now try a normal pillow and if my neck issues return will buy the Tempur Pillow..You do get what you pay for.

Pillow is really supportive and my neck is now feeling alot better and not as stiff. I would reccommend people purchase this pillow and give it a chance to work.

Firstly let me say that I don't normaly write negative reviews but in this case I have no alternative. I bought this pillow because I had already bought memory foam pillows from Debenhams which cost £55 each so when I saw these I made the fatal mistake of thinking that these were the same at a lesser price. WRONG!The pillow is tiny? About half the size of a normal pillow. It is also rock hard. My other memory foam pillows are slightly firm at first but your head sinks in instantly and are totaly comfy. This one on the other hand is like a brick and you would need a 40 kilo head to make a dent. My daughter tried to sleep with it one night but threw it in to the lobby during the night after getting a crick in her neck.Sorry but it appears that you get what you pay for in this case.

It was good to try with this to see whether it is different than the conventional pillow. It is quite firm and does the job quite well, although it's length is bit short. It is good value for money.Anybody with pain in the neck is indecisive about buying an expensive contour memory foam pillow , it may be a good idea to try this before to see it is the pillow that is causing the problem.
