I recently purchased a Newentor Weather Station Clock with a projection function, which means the clock will project the time and temperature onto the ceiling or a wall as one chooses. The clock face itself displays the time, the indoor temperature and humidity, and the outdoor temperature and humidity, and also a weather forecast. The projection function projects in red light the time and temperature. The temperature in the projection function alternates between the indoor and outdoor temperature every five seconds. The projected display can be rotated 180 degrees so that the numbers are projected in the proper orientation, depending on how the clock unit itself is situated. The brightness of the projection display also can be adjusted to one of two different brightness settings. This was very important to me because I like a dark room in which to sleep, and I find the low setting to be easy to see and not too bright in a bedroom at night. If someone had a room with more light in it, they may choose to use the display brighter. I should also add that my vision is poor, 20-200+, so I am quite nearsighted. Even so, I have had absolutely no problem seeing the numbers projected on the ceiling. The other night I awoke and I was wondering what time it was. Instead of having to roll completely over to see a clock on my nightstand, I just had to turn my head slightly on my pillow to see the time on the ceiling. Many times after having to move to look at my old clock I was awakened slightly and it took some time to get back to sleep, which does not happen with the projection clock. It is also interesting to note that the projection on the ceiling is not seen during the day as the room is too bright, however if you hold a piece of paper over the projection lens, you can see that the time and temperature is still being projected, it just can't be seen during the daylight hours. The alarm that is installed in the clock is easy to program. When it chimes it is a pleasant sound, which starts out quiet and will increase in volume if not turned off. I would strongly recommend this clock to anyone looking to purchase a clock. The extra features and the price make it a very attractive product.

When available, I choose Newentor products because of their reliability and the company’s fast and excellent Email support. Their products have met up to their advertised performance. This includes the Newentor Projection Alarm Clock. The temperature and humidity measurements appear to be accurate enough because I have compared them to my more expense units. I use the brightest projection light level because I also want to see the projected time/temperature during the day when the room is bright. A big plus is that the unit is easy to set up with very little required reading. A slight problem, which I have with all remote sensing devices, is that there is some trial and error necessary to position the remote sensor so that its signal is strong enough to be received by the base unit without interference from other wireless signals. The unit’s three channels helps obtain a useable signal.

Nice clock. Convenient information provided on colorful display. There have been a few nights that I and my wife noticed that the clock was not projecting onto the ceiling but later in the night it was. Last night it was 2:55 am but the clock said 12:35 am. I thought i would have to readjust the time in the morning but when i woke up the time was correct again. I have no idea what's going on. The temperature seems to be pretty accurate. So in conclusion, it works most of the time.

I bought this projector clock for myself because I had already bought this same model for a friend, and was so impressed with the display quality and the fact that the time on the projection is always on, with the inside/outside temperature alternating. The color display on the console contains a huge amount of information. Just an excellent product! I wish I could say the shipping was as good. The original claim was 4 days, but after 4 days, it had still not been shipped, and then took several days to come from Ontario, I assume, by road.

I was concerned about projecting the time on our vaulted ceiling thinking it would elongate the numbers but it doesn’t! I like that you can choose brighter or dimmer settings. I’ve never had a projector clock before but now I won’t be able to live without it. The complaints about it being hard to set up isn’t true if you just follow the directions step by step. Mine is in an upstairs bedroom and the outside transmitter is around 35 ft away under the open porch awning. We have steel siding and it doesn’t interfere at all. I haven’t tried the alarm clock feature as I use my cellphone for that. As farmers we are always on top of the weather so to wake up and immediately know what’s happening outside is wonderful. So pleased with this!

Absolutely love this weather station alarm clock with the projector! There is a lot of great weather info packed onto the display of a very slim and modest console. The projection is clear and easy-to-read and can be displayed at least 20-25 feet away on the wall or ceiling. Haven't had any issues with placement of the outdoor wireless sensor in terms of connectivity with the console itself. Definitely a great buy for any weather enthusiast or even if you're just looking to replace your current alarm clock! You can wake up and immediately see what the weather is like outside to let you know how to prepare for your day!

I have had another product from this company (Newentor) for a while with no issues, but was looking for a smaller version to use on a nightstand. Decided on this one and it does not disappoint. Personally I don’t care to use the projection portion of it but I believe it’s a good feature for people who don’t mind lights on at night, however it does dim or you can just keep the projector turned off as I do. The temperature and humidity readings seem accurate and overall very satisfied with this purchase. Wish they made a battery operated one so I would not have to deal with running a power cord and could place in a more flexible location, however, that is my only real complaint.
