Material is not the traditional silver cloth; very flimsy and cannot make a tight closure. I would not recommend these.

These anti tarnish bags work very well in preventing my silver from being exposed to the air, which would cause tarnishing. They would have been even better, though, had they been made higher so that the top could have been folded down to completely enclose the longer pieces, but I'm pleased with them, none the less.

Do not waste your money. Spend the extra and buy a proper felt bag. Fabric is stiff and cheap & barely holds small cutlery. I would leave less than a star rating if possible.

I bought these for a friend who has been collecting spoons (massive dust collectors, requiring frequent polishing) since she was a child - thanks to her mother.Storing the spoons in a tub left them very tarnished, so to protect them, I thought these would be ideal.She polished the spoons up, placed them in their individual holders, folded the top over and rolled them up.Spoons saved, stored and the mother's feelings are not hurt.The quality is great. If there was a fault to pick it would be that the ribbon it came with wasn't precut and sewn to the roll.

I have a large number of antique silver spoons, so if these strorage bags really have an anti-tarnish finish, then they are very good value for the cost. But each set of six came in one clear plastic bag with no labels, no markings of any sort so I do not even know who supplied them or how they describe their properties. Also, there was a single long ribbon to be cut and used to tie off each of the six bags rather than the normal ties one would expect to have been attached to each bag. But still, if they really stop tarnish over a period of time, I will be happy to re-order these bags.
