Excellent Value and Flavor
I recently purchased Hot Red Pepper Powder Flakes, and I’m very pleased with the product. The pack is surprisingly large, much bigger than I expected, and it’s significantly cheaper compared to the small pack I bought from a Korean shop. The flakes have a great, mild taste that’s perfect for making Kimchi. The only downside is the packaging; you’ll need to transfer the flakes into a bottle or herb box for easier use. Overall, it’s a fantastic value and a quality product.

its the right stuff for making kimchi
In this package I had 2 bags which is not really needed unless you are a restaurant as this is a huge amount I was expecting small packages. I cant criticise this as I have enough to give away and to make kimchi for the next 10 years for myself.

Incredible, the best kimchi
We love these chilli flakes, they are hot and spicy and perfect in kimchi. We use 50g of chilli flakes with two chinese leaf cabbages and it works out perfectly every time. Don't use anything else, just buy this and you won't be disappointed.

False origin information
I was advised to buy Gochugaru that is produced in Korea as it is of superior quality and taste. This brand is tastier than my last one however it is really produced in China and not korea as stated in its description here. Misleading information as package itself says it was produced in China, see picture. So difficult to trust businesses these days.
