Reusable Capsules for Nespresso OriginalLine: 6 Stainless Pods

I recently purchased the Capmesso Reusable Capsule set and I am blown away by its performance. Not only is it smaller than I expected, but the rubber pod holders add an extra layer of protection and convenience. The crema that it produces is rich and creamy, just like the coffee I enjoy at my favorite coffee shop, much better than other refillables I have tried! As someone who loves to bring back coffee from México, I am thrilled to have found a compact and efficient solution for brewing my favorite coffee at home. The compact size makes it easy to take on the go, and the rubber pod holders provide a secure grip. I have other refillable pods but they get lost in the nooks and crannies of my pod drawer. One of the best things about this set is the time-saving feature. I can make six pods ahead of time and have them ready to go in the morning. This saves me time and hassle, and allows me to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee without having to wait. The quality is also excellent, with a solid wood pod holder tray that has a pleasing aesthetic. I highly recommend the Capmesso Reusable Capsule set to any coffee lover who wants to enjoy a delicious and convenient cup of coffee at home. It's the perfect combination of affordability, quality, and convenience.

This set of reusable capsules is amazing! Right out of the box, I cleaned them quickly with just hot water and dish spray, and then immediately tried one out. I was able to fill and seal it within a minute or so. It worked in my Nespresso Pixie machine exactly like the store capsules. They seem to fit my machine perfectly. I did make sure the little rubber gasket was in place, sung against the underside of the capsule lip. I also rubbed around the edge of the foil sticker to make sure it was fully sealed. I use Bustelo espresso coffee and it made an excellent lungo. I am including photos of the capsules and comparison to a store bought Bustelo one. I also am including a comparison of the lungo shot between the two capsules. I think I didn't fill the 2nd capsule as much as the first and it wasn't quite a strong, so I'll need to make sure and fill it better. Also, I figured out it's less messy to fill the capsules one at a time over the bag of coffee grounds instead of trying to fill them while they're sitting in the little tray. I may try it next time with my digital kitchen scale and see if I can get it more consistent. I think these will be very durable and save lots of money for my coffee and I MUST have the boujee coffee.

A few years ago, I invested in the Nespresso Creatista Plus, hoping I could learn to make lattes at home since I was completely hooked on Starbucks and Dunkin’. At first, the machine mostly just sat there. I could never quite replicate the drinks I was spending so much money on — so it collected dust for a while. Eventually, I started getting better at it. The Nespresso pods make really great coffee, and I began experimenting more. Around that time, my boyfriend, who’s from Louisiana, introduced me to Café du Monde coffee. I bought a can for him and figured I’d need a French press or maybe find a way to use it with pods. That’s when I came across these reusable Nespresso pods. I hesitated for months, thinking I’d eventually just get a French press. Then, after we visited Café du Monde in person and I tasted the coffee there, I knew I had to try it in my Nespresso machine. I finally ordered the stainless steel pods — and they work perfectly. Now, I’m making the best coffee I’ve ever had. I use a HyperChill cup, pull two shots of espresso, add about 1.5 tablespoons of Torani French Vanilla syrup, oat milk and cool it all down in the hyperchill cup It’s incredible. My boyfriend and I used to spend several hundred dollars a month on coffee, but now we’re both obsessed with the drinks I make at home. Even my daughter loves it. She’s a fan of coffee too — I give her decaf — and she tells me I make the best coffee in the world. I highly recommend these pods. I’ve been using the 6-pack version with aluminum sticker lids, and they’ve held up great. I recently saw that there’s a newer version made entirely of stainless steel — I haven’t tried those yet, but I’m seriously considering investing in a second set. Honestly, making the pods is part of the fun now. If you’re on the fence about trying reusable pods I highly recommend them, they are worth their weight in gold.

They work so I'll give them 3 stars, but they don't work good. First of all I have the pixie machine and my lil container the pods drop in sits in was filled with water. I noticed this only happens when using these refillable pods and not the Nespresso pods. I did use a coffee filter and cut little circles out ( like they have at the bottom of Nespresso pods) and that stopped all of the water going into the drip pan thing. Still though the espresso is always really watered down and there is almost no crema. I did try this with different kinds of espresso and different grind sizes. I will say super super fine grind is better, but still watery. I did empty a Nespresso pod and added my espresso into it, added the sticker lid, and it came out great. I bought these out of other reusable pods because of the tray and amount it came with, but it wasn't worth it. I'm not sure why there is so many good reviews ( maybe different machines) , but I'm done trying these.

Difficult to figure out how exactly to rate this item because I'm sure much of it is user error on my part. Here are the pros: material is good, the seals work really well, and they do fit well in the machine. Cons: very inconsistent and not great directions. I even went to find some videos and I still had a hard time getting a good consistent brew. Sometimes it would just create a few drops, sometimes brew perfectly, sometimes had lots of grounds, etc. I tried to troubleshoot with youtube videos but eventually it became more of a time investment than I was willing to spend. Here's the bottom line - if you have done your own pods before and you're experienced, or if you want to put in the time and effort to learn how to use these then you should go for it. It's well-made and works well. If you are just looking for something reusable and convenient and just hoping it works the same as the prepared pods and don't want to spend a lot of time on a learning curve, skip these and get your regular pods.

After tiring of spending too much $ on name brand capsules, and getting mixed results trying many of the varieties of non-Nespresso capsules, I decided to look into reusables. I read through a bunch of different reviews, on multiple listings / brands, and decided to try these Capmesso capsules. I've only brewed about 10 pods total, but I'm already convinced these are great & worthy of the 5 star review. I use a Delonghi Pixie machine (the one with Aluminum sides), and the only problem I've seen is low flow / "dripping", but I've also seen this on plenty of the off brand capsules, so I don't think it's an issue with the capsules, and seems to be more an issue of the grind / amount / tamp. I'm going to experiment with different coffees, but so far I've tried the ground Cafe La Llave & Café Bustelo "bricks" and am having surprisingly good results with both, right off the bat. I've not yet got it as good or better than Nespresso capsules, but I'm confident with a little experimenting, I'll get there very soon. Like ANY great espresso, the key is going to be the right grind, correct amount of grounds, and proper tamp pressure, but the pods themselves work great! I'm going to continue to experiment with different pre-ground coffees, as well as my own grinds, to perfect things, and will try to update this review once I've got things a bit more consistent w/ my machine. Another reviewer suggested buying Nespresso or Starbucks pods to open them up and try to mimic the grind / fill / tamp, and I think that's exactly what I'm going to do next. ALSO OF NOTE: The foil lids leave NO residue and are very easy to remove (two common complaints I've seen on multiple products' reviews). BEFORE YOU BUY (OR AVOID BUYING): There is an image showing supported Nespresso machines, and unless you click through to the last photo, you might not see it. You should visually confirm for yourself your machine is "supported" before using these (or any other brand / style of capsule), but the models listed there are: PIXIE / INISSIA / LATTISSIMA / LATTISSIMA PRO / ESSENZA MINI (2 different varieties) / CITIZ

I really like this system. Nespresso Kazaar was starting to add up (at a dollar or so a pod), so i needed an acceptable alternative. After one morning of trial and error (adjusting grind size, tamp pressure and amount of coffee per pod) these are working well for me. The most important variable is grind size. This was the difference between decent crema and dog water. I am using a Hario MSS1 and have included a picture of my thumb screw setting. For the tamp i am filling the bottom 3rd, tamping 25 psi (yup) with the included plastic cup, repeating this for the next 3rd, then final 3rd, leaving it just about even with the top. This totals about 6g (or just under) on my scale. The foil adheres with no issue and i have been taking it off immediately after extracting the shot. There is zero glue residue doing it this way. Tapping the metal pod on the inside of the trash can lid removes the contents pretty quickly as well. I 100% would buy this again and will update if i run into any issues. * Pulling the cup away just before the machine finishes will eliminate the blonding that was occuring in my photos.

I’ve sent many back. This one has the best features and items needed. I have the Pixie machine, and I’ve heard that any reusables may not work with one of the mini nespresso machines. I don’t know this for sure though. I also don’t know how well they work with any other machine but the Pixie by Delongi. Thought I’d add my personal experience with only using the Pixie if this helps anyone. Also i control how it extracts a shot: by how hard I pack the grinds in, how much i pack in, and definitely definitely definitely how I grind the beans or how the beans are already ground that I buy. Cafe Bustello: can’t say it comes ground fine enough for me. I bought the brick of ground espresso. I can adjust how it extracts, but it’s still too watery like coffee seeming. Tastes horrible to me. Ok now I use my grinder and very finely grind Blue Bottle Espresso beans. Now we’ve got something great:) Buy a pack of Starbucks espresso capsules, or Nespresso. ONLY THOSE. Because they’re the same exact capsules. Only those capsules will work for this: Use them, then tear off the foil as completely as you can, look at the way it’s packed and ground. Then whack the used grinds out carefully- I use a wall smack against the inside of a flat plastic trash can- don’t damage any part of the capsule. Wipe the residue out, now repack that capsule -mimic what you removed best you can from seeing used grinds. Now take one of your foils from this kit and reuse that capsule. See how it works. Then you’ll better gauge how to use these reusable capsules, and knowing how they won’t fit as much ground espresso into them, meaning you can’t really do it the same exact way, as they’re shorter, this will help you to understand how to eventually perfect things to your liking with these shorter capsules in a different way. That’s how I perfected mine to work for my own particular taste. You control the shots. Don’t let the shots control you.

Work perfectly, stickers come off clean and easy after use, only difference I find from the regular pods is remembering to clean them out regularly so they don't grow mould from the wet ground beans after use.

I like it. I had to try different ways of going about it, basing my expermientations on reviews I've found here, but the most efficient I've found is this: - Grind your coffee somewhere between filter and espresso. Not too fine for it will block the holes and not give the right amount of pressure (it will drip poorly and slowly). - Fill it to the top, press lightly to pack the coffee (not too tight) and add some more to fill it back again, using something flat to... well flatten it! - use your finger, not the brush that comes with the package, to take the grinds off of the rim. - Put the sticker on without worrying too much on perfectionism and make sur it is sealed all the way around. - Put it in and enjoy! The taste is good, the consistency will never be the same as a nespresso pod, but it sure makes me feel better about my environmental footprint.

Wonderful product.

Pretty impressed with this product. Took A few times to get the grind and packing correct, but I am now very happy with the finished product. I used in this video, kicking horse coffee “kick ass” pre ground , and input it through the grinder on fine setting , lots of crema and great flavour , i do a double shot every time, the first came out so great I videoed the second

It takes some experimenting to get it right, and you need to be careful putting it in. It does overall get the job done though. Only problem is that sometimes it's hard to get the residue off from the stick-on lids.
