Clementoni 61302 "Explore the World! The Interactive Globe" Toy

Will be a great educational tool.

I bought this one for educational purposes, but to best honest the quality leaves much to be desired. Thin plastic, the sound is like from a cheap toy, the pencil doesn't recognise small countries immediately.

I really deliberated whether to get this globe from here after some of the reviews about dirt and dust but I’m so glad I did. Mine arrived perfectly clean and the price is less than half than I’ve been able to find anywhere else. It seems to work perfectly and came very well packaged.

Not as well made as I would expect for the price. We bought to replace an older leapfrog interactive globe our children loved and grew up with.This one wasn’t a patch on the old globe.Only 3 levels of quiz and not able to choose say a quiz on capital cities or languages, just whatever you get given and the same questions repeated often, some countries never asked about.Quite flimsy so you need to steady it with one hand while using and the pen isn’t very reactive. The pen wire is restrictive, notlong enough and the sound isn’t clear enough.When you get a quiz question wrong it doesn’t tell you the correct answer even after 3 wrong attempts.As you can tell we were far from impressed with this and returned it.Might be ok for primary school children but not suitable for older children or adults in my opinion.

Loads of features to choose between and kids love this. Only negative so far is it’s sometimes difficult to select using the pen, you have to hold it upright rather than like a pen and sometimes it takes a few tries which the kids find frustrating.

It would not work after one week and feel I should have got a replacement instead of a refund! Simply because the price was higher by then!
