Perfect fit on the Dogtra TB dual. Gets through the double-coat of a Golden. I bought both the 1 inch and 3/4. The 3/4 is the one for my overcoated Golden as well as for the slick coated Golden. The 1 inch is too long. Even with the collar just snug he is scratching at the collar often enough to have me checking the fit constantly. Too be honest it's a rare day the dogs get shocked. They have years of experience with the tone, vibrate and stimulus. Vibrate does the job. Just putting the collars on does the job. When hunting season starts, and the opportunity to misbehave increases, I will update as necessary. I've read reviews about Dogtra e collars being temperamental about working, but I decided to try longer prongs. My almost ten month old German Shepherd is definitely on the ADHD side, but he has very thick fur! These extension prongs did the trick! The boy is now aware of the potential to be corrected and so he tries me less. I am very happy with these points and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a longer or thicker furred canine! Well worth the money!

Great for dogs with longer or scruffy fur, as it ensures good contact to the skin for consistent stim. With the regular prongs on an E collar if you do not get good contact, you will find yourself turning up the stem, thinking the dog doesn’t feel it and when it makes contact, you will hurt your dog as a Dog professional please do all your research and learn how to properly use an E collar it is a great tool when used correctly.

I bought this for my my dogs Tom Davis Dogtra e-collar as we were finding that the prongs were not touching her husky neck. This has made it possible for the prongs to touch her neck. They fit with her collar great, and I am happy we found the product for the price!

Our dog has a medium coat. Enough that his trainer didn't feel the original prongs were sufficient. But these are so long! They would definitely be great on a VERY furry dog. They work for us since we don't use the collar much.

Even with extra thick hair on my great Pyrenees, these worked but caused holes in my dog‘s neck after only a few days. I definitely didn’t have them on too tight just the rubbing against their neck causes issues. It was so bad. I decided to switch to a totally different type of collar not to sound like a broken record but if you use these dog’s neck every day and remove at the slightest sign of broken skin or you will get an infection

.These high quality tips will not help you if you own a Dogtra collar. You will need small M1 size stud bolts or whatever size matches your model, because the tips are threaded, and once you remove the short contacts that come with the Dogtra out of the box, there are no studs to thread these onto. If they fit, they would be great for long-haired dogs. This is cost effective addition to existing collars, but beware of the need for a studs to mount them. E-collar training is essential for strong, loving, and stubborn dogs, but the short prongs will not give reliable contact. Pick up a solid book on e-collar training. The process is simple, fair, and effective when done right.

My ADH pup would not respond to other collars with stubby contacts - this one got his attention. Purchased a Dogtra brand collar to use them on as most collars either don't have replaceable contact points, or the screw shaft was not the right diameter.

Good secure fit, value for money, easy to replace the originals, would buy again.
