I used a different mail light to set the polish and it will not dry, anyone else having that problem?

You should be using a gel base coat, curing it, then the gel color, curing it, then a gel top coat and curing it. If you have a top coat that needs to be wiped, wipe each finger with alcohol after final top coat has been cured. Hope this helps!

I've caused cancer. Can I dry this polish with a regular fan?

You probably can but I wouldn’t recommend it, as it’s supposed to dry by UV cure
