Sturdy, well built, not expensive.
Due to extreme weather both summer and winter now making it too hard to walk outside, we bought this Gazelle Sprinter for those bad weather days. So far, very pleased! Well-made, sturdy and not complicated to use--just good simple exercise. It took two of us 2.5 hours to assemble, and that was only because the pictures in the instructions were not clear to us. But in all, not a lot of parts and only a few screws to attach with the dreaded Allen wrench (included). Highly recommend for simple exercise.

Simple but Effective
I don't write reviews often but I have to for this. I've struggled to find an effective cardio workout for my home for years. I've got through several bikes and considered many machines. Finally, I remembered back in the early 2000's there was. the infomercials with Tony Little and I decided to check out this machine. I'm glad that I did because this thing rocks. It is not a normal elliptical machine. Instead of there being a crank for your feet (like a bike), your feet simply move forward. and backward. This is great because it provides a lot of variation to your movements and honestly gives a deeper workout than a normal elliptical while being cheaper and easier to use. This is less like running and more like ski walking and at multiple angles, which challenges different parts of your body. And, it comes with the resistance option which can also add intensity to the workout.I'm a big fan of bodyweight workouts (calisthenics) because its simpler, uses your own bodyweight for the resistance, and needs less equipment. This elliptical fits the bill of that and takes up very little space for what you get.

fairly good
I've owned two of these in preceding years. This one was a bit more complicated to assemble. One part was missing (the accessory package) and another had a damage wire. I contact their customer support. A week later I had the missing part. The damaged part they said has been shipped. Once fully functional I have found that these machines are quiet and give a decent workout in a relatively fun way.

Great workout ! I've lost 25 pounds and kept it off!
This is a great workout machine. The sprinter is more expensive, but offers the option of use with or without the resistance. It seems like I use different muscles with either use because my stride gets really wide without the resistance. It took about a month to boost my metabolism, but using it every day, I've lost 25 pounds. I really enjoy the workout. I have a killer playlist and I workout in my bird room, so I can watch all my birds while I'm working out. It's like an active meditation, so sometimes I'm up to 2 hours before I realize I'm on it so long! Keep some WD40 handy when squeaks start. When well oiled, it's really quiet. This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases!

So far ok hope it holds up.
This is my 3rd Gazelle. The previous 2 were Gazelle PROs which are sturdier and has better range of swing motion. This unit is ok but no idea if will hold up. The other 2 PROs lasted about 7 years each before the swing cords broke and cannot be repaired. This unit being smaller and not as well built may not hold up as long. (160lbs of weight) but claims it will accommodate up to 250. It is quiet and was easy to assemble. It offers a good low impact cardio workout which is why I continue coming back to Gazelle.

Easy On a Body Riddled with Arthritis & Osteoporosis
I love my Gazelle. This is the more expensive Gazelle, and I am glad that I paid more for it because this model is the sturdier one. I have arthritis & severe osteoporosis in my lower back and hip as well as a herniated disc. This is such a great exercise for those plagued with old age wear and tear on the body. I recommend it highly. This model also folds down flat.

Heavy duty easy to use
Quiet and easy to use. Made really good.

Not great
I've had it for a year and two months. The wheel bracket broke and the seller stated they couldn't do anything because it was out of warranty. Note... I'm willing to buy the spare part, but they never answered if they were available. Also, like other reviews have said, it squeeks... a lot! Nothing I've done makes the squeeking go away. Oiling it doesn't work... sometimes produces a temporary fix, but not always. The display screen also comes undone all the time.

Better than I expected
I had reservations with this purchase. I had a very good quality (and very expensive nordictrack elliptical machine which I purchased 3 years ago, and had great workouts from it). Then the nordictrack became insanely noisy: super squeaky and awful and I live in a condo and work out super early as I work earlier than most. So this caused me a huge problem. Something that expensive and of supposed high quality was toast after 3 years? And no, the white lithium grease couldnโt even solve the problem) so when they tried to sell me a new 3k + machine, I thought No Way. So I looked for alternatives. This is much much simpler, and lighter, wasnโt sure it could compare in anyway as the other one had hill resistance etc. but actually I really love this thing. And Iโm in pretty good shape: this does provide great cardio for advanced people (and would work for newbies too): you get what you put in. So it doesnโt auto push you like a program will on a Nordic track, but you can do that on your own, and if you exercise regularly, you will as you want your regular results. The biggest plus of this is the range, you can glide your legs with a much longer stride than you can on any other cardio equipment so you stretch your legs too, I feel fabulous afterwards, and itโs much easier on knees (I donโt have knee problems, but on occasion felt it pull a bit uncomfortably with the nordictrack) whereas with this one, I donโt. You can also go lower and do more of a squat glide, and the other formats (they give you a poster, which I didnโt need, but itโs a nice touch) and just reminds you to vary it up.All I all, this is gentler on the body than other cardio pieces and if youโre dedicated to get in a good workout and push yourself, this thing is awesome. And quiet. No squeaking from this design and not a massive weight like the others either.Iโm very pleasantly surprised and so glad I purchased this. Worth every penny. Love it. Thank you!

Gazelle Galore!
This is the best machine to purchase that is easy on the joints. It is easy to use and gives resistance when you want it. No concerns.
User
Very happy with this Gazelle
Came as promised and when, pretty easy for one person to put together. The resisters are an upgrade from my last one and there's regular glide or wow that's hard, I'll have to work up to that. I recommend it!

Works well
I had an older version that went to a well earned rest last Fall. I had difficulty getting a new version until Amazon found a Canadian supplier. Assembling the Gazelle went fairly well, though some minor attachments I gave up attempting on (the device holder and one side of the protective sleeve). The computer isn't much use as it just flips around giving me random numbers, then clicks off - but I use my iPhone in my pocket for what I need. Otherwise it works better than my original version because of the resistance now incorporated - it exercises my arm muscles in a way not done with my 1995 version. I am satisfied.

Good
