Most likely China. The casings and cords could be made anywhere, but the rods mostly come from China (probably about 99%), or Austria (but you won't be getting the Austrian manufactured stuff at THIS price).

Does this humidor require seasoning such as the use of boveda for cigars humidity control for humidor seasoning?

My husband did not use seasoning. However, after looking at other humidor videos, he did wipe down the entire inside including the shelf with distilled water as the humidity was not coming up. He also added more than the recommended 10 drops! It took about 3 days, but it is consistent at 68%.
