Can you love a toilet seat? Yes, as a matter of fact, you can. I didn’t have any of the recommended Home Depot buckets that this seat supposedly fits perfectly, but after trying out several of the buckets I already own, found one that it fit on perfectly. Slipping that bucket inside of another bucket added a few inches that made the height perfect for me. This snaps into place securely and stays, so there’s no fear of slippage while you go. A plastic kitchen bag in the bucket, and some sawdust to absorb the go, covers the basics of use. The seat has a softer foam insert so you don’t hurt your heinie, and it is removable so you can clean and air the whole unit easily and adequately. The seat lid snaps on tight to help contain odors. Living rurally—where we can lose electricity, and so water, since the well pump doesn’t work—I’ve used this in an indoor situation and even over the course of several days’ collection, it works great.

Well worth a couple of extra bucks for this padded toilet seat. snaps onto my 3 gallon bucket (or a 5 gallon bucket) with camco bag (expensinve but clean and neat) or with a good trash bage and pee get for emergency when campground shower/loo rooms are closed for cleaning or in middle of night in campervan. Snaps on and off bucket security but easy to remove when removing bag (important). Use a bucket instead of one of those pop up toilet seats if using inside rv/van to totally eliminate any chance of splills. Safe and neat for an. indoor emergency camp toilet. Well worth the couple extra bucks for the butt comfort. If you are spending more than 15 seconds on the seat, your butt will thank you. Easy to wipe down with cleaning spray despite being soft ring for your butt. Very good purchase for emergencies and comfort. Thanks guys.

Probably should've gotten a larger size yet this is comfortable and it almost makes the bucket leak proof if you're gonna use it without a bag. That "almost" - well, I used bags now

Fits bucket lid nicely and the side is wider and padded! Very nice for those long camping trips.

Very comfortable and doesnt feel cheap. I'm short and weigh around 255 lbs and this handled my fat butt no problem. It fit easily onto an old white Lowes/Home Depot bucket. I like the wide opening; a lot of portapotties feel like you're going to pee all over everything but this one felt really comfortable with good room to just let it all go.

Works as intended. Doesn’t seem wobbly, something I was worried about. In an emergency if a bathroom is not available or too far away. We take it camping.
