It is super essential when reading the bible to understand the context so that we do not interpret scripture to our own understanding, so the study notes at the bottom helps to provide context of most scriptures and each book has an explanation of the context etc. The bible uses Hebrew words with English pronunciation, but there is a page at the back that tells you what each word means in modern English. Shame that such a beautiful book was so beaten up in the post
Very pleased with the book and its contents, but it arrived with dents in the cover, something splashed across the front, two bent corners (and a few bent pages). I suppose it's a testament to the quality of the binding that it survived. It took a while to arrive, and was only wrapped in a thin plastic bag. This is a heavy book - I would happily have paid more for proper packaging. It will be well worn and studied, so its damaged state is not a huge issue in the long term, but I would have been bitterly disappointed if it had arrived in this condition as a gift.

Magnificent Bible Translation
Best Bible Translation I have ever read, and the study notes are magnificent they really do give you an insight from a Jewish perspective which correctly informs the reader how to understand scripture.

I love this Jewish translation, it's easy reading and really gives clarity to scripture. For the average Christian (are we average? lol.) there is so much of interest in here.... Jewish Customs and the Introductions to each book are interesting. Maps, and glossaries at the back give English pronunciations and also English words to Hebrew.

The most amazing Bible ever. With this translation, and all the comments and explanarions that are provided, you begin to understand things that didn't make sense before. It all comes alive. Not to mention the print, which is amazing, with all the graphics in colour. Everyone should own one

This is my favourite Bible. Love the study guide! Beautiful print. My children have noticed I like to take it everywhere I go! It explains things in a way I have never seen before. So much clarity. I would buy again and again.

The Jewish Perspective
I had TCJSB in 2020. Its a totally a new experience and learning. The Jewish Festivals , The Jewish Names of our LORD. The very many messianic perspectives are so very useful. For me The Complete Jewish Study Bible is a priceless treasure gift from Yeshua to learn and know more about the Jewish Messiah Of Nazareth. We lost David Moreh in 2022. My sincere prayers for Martha Auntie. I would sincerely recommend to all Bible studying brethren to surely get their TCJSB. Joy Christie India
