I just bought this and used it for the first time. All I can say is I will not use chap stick again. It did make my lips very soft and moist. Being so cold and dry my lips were getting chapped. After using it once I could see a difference. I'm glad I decided to try it. That you e.l.f.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this elf lip mask. It is elite and so inexpensive! It is so moisturizing! It is very emollient. I put it on at night and my lips are still hydrated by morning. It has no taste, which is also a bonus. Highly recommend!

This lip mask works really well and truly hydrates my lips. I love that it includes a small spatula, making it more hygienic and easy to use without dipping fingers into the jar. The only downside for me is the taste, which I’m not a big fan of. Other than that, it’s a great product and does its job well.

I get dry, chapped lips really easily—especially this time of year when I’m doing receiving outside in the cold. I keep this lip mask right on my desk and put it on before heading out, and it’s become a total staple for me. The texture is thick in the best way, almost like a protective cushion, and it creates a solid barrier against the brutal Northeast winter weather. It keeps my lips from cracking and stays on longer than most balms I’ve tried. It’s simple, reliable, and actually does what it claims.

I tried this cheaper option instead of my usual nighttime lip mask (from the popular brand this product seems to be a dupe for). I would say it performs about 90% as well as the other lip mask with a very similar consistency. It was still on my lips when I woke up in the morning, which is the main thing I'm looking for, to prevent my lips from becoming dry overnight, especially with the heat running in the winter.

So I'll be honest, I didn't skim through all the product details and reviews before purchasing, because so many people like this product. However, I bet there a lot of people that don't like it for the specific reasons I will list. I know people say you get a lot for your money, but it's such a soft product you can end up accidentally taking too much out of the jar. You have to keep track of the spatula, and it really doesn't seem to do much or last very long on the lips. I had originally purchased the kiehl's butter mask for lips and was putting it on at bedtime. The kiehls is very solid, and you really rub your finger in before applying it to the lips. So I guess I was expecting something like that with this tub. I dipped the spatula in the first time, and boy it's soft. In addition if you are a super natural person, I really don't think it's helpful that it has food coloring and a tiny bit of a scent. There's really not necessity for either of those things. I know people say it's a great price, but I have a feeling the kiehls is going to last me about four times as long since it's a solid product. I think if you really wanted a product like this, it's probably better to purchase aquaphor and it does a better job. I think this is the best lip mask for the price on the market. As a midwest girly with CHRONICALLY chapped lips all winter, I am a slight lip product connoisseur. I’ve tried everything from low to high end stuff, I have really sensitive skin and this one has all the good qualities of Laneige without the irritation from fragrance. It is thick and a similar consistency, but it is less irritating, little to no fragrance, and my lips wake up feeling so soft! I implemented this into my regular night routine, and have not looked back since. Also the price is unbeatable, so what are you waiting for?!

Another great product from elf! I put this on my chapped lips and within a couple hours they were so much softer and smoother and starting to heal up so well. The pot is a bit small but I noticed right away that only a small amount needs to be applied, it really goes a long way. The smell is somewhat floral and smells similar to the face wash and face cream in the Holy Hydration line...reminds me a bit of the smell of Nivea cream. I would prefer a softer scent or none at all but it is worth dealing with for the effectiveness of the product. I also find it stays on a long time, no need for constant reapplying. I do wish it came in packaging that didn't require using the little included spatula or a finger to apply. I like using a small amount with a lip brush just before I start to apply my makeup, and by the time I get to the last part of my makeup application (lips), my lips are moisturized and soft. If you prefer, this would be an amazing lip mask to wear overnight! I will repurchase this for sure. Highly recommend! Well done elf!
