usogood Trail Camera, 4K 48MP Game Camera takes decent pictures.
The usogood Trail Camera, 4K 48MP Game Camera that comes with 8 batteries and the 32GB card is a good buy for the money. I have several cameras throughout the woods near my home. It works as well as my high-end cameras, and I am pleased. It is very easy to program through the settings. The images are fairly clear and captures shots within a decent range. It's a great starter camera at a decent price.

Decent Cameras So Far!
I purchased three of these cameras and have been testing them out over the last month. So far so good!! They are so easy to setup. There's a variety of settings to choose from and the menus are simple to navigate. I like that you can adjust the resolution, video length, etc. and there enough variables to choose between higher quality/resolution vs maintaining battery life. Granted, these are my first trail cams so I don't have much to compare to but I find the photo and video quality to be good. Haven't bothered much with sound. The build quality seems very good as well. Especially at this price point. My only gripe thus far is that the side sensors seem a little sluggish. Some of my photos and videos seem to trigger only when the animal is directly in front of the camera meaning the photo or video only catches it mid-frame. In the video, you can watch it walk out of the frame but not so much into it, if that makes sense. Still playing with the settings and positioning of the cameras to see if there is a way to improve this. It's a minor thing, anyway. So far we capture ourselves & our dogs the most ๐ but also lots of deer, opossum, fox ..... Attached photo is a bobcat at night. Camera was set to a very low resolution & tucked into some bushes (not ideal setup as you can see) but the quality was still decent IMO. If the focal point hadn't been the bushes the cat would've easily been more clear. I'll post some better examples in the future. Overall very happy with my purchase. Will likely buy a few more.

Easy to use
This camera is very easy to set up and use. Plenty of setup options to match with what you are trying to capture. Picture quality and night photos are OK for the low price point for this camera. I am happy with it for the low price.

Best Trail-cam that I've owned
I don't expect SLR photographic quality from a $50 trail camera, so I'm completely satisfied with the images that I've seen so far. Night photos are good enough for surveillance purposes. Animals may be somewhat blurred in low light, depending on how fast they are moving because of the slow shutter speed necessary. I've set the cam so that it will shoot two images in sequence at 5 megapixels, which is more than adequate for screen viewing. That's the default size, and I don't see any purpose to increase it because it's unlikely that I'll print any of them. Large photos require more time to transfer and use more space on the card - for little to no improvement in typical screen viewing. What I like about the Usogood over other cameras that I've owned is the ease of transferring the images from the camera to my PC with the included USB cable. With the camera powered down and the cable inserted, it automatically appears as a separate USB drive on the PC. Photos transferred quickly to the computer. Click and drag the 100MEDIA subfolder using the file manager on Windows, Linux, or Mac then drop it into any directory of your choice on your PC without having to remove the microSD card from the cam. After the transfer is successful you can delete the files from the camera or reformat the SD card. No additional software and no Wifi setup is needed. Wifi would drain batteries faster so I don't see any point in paying extra for that option. The menu system is simple enough to understand and the battery compartment has a separate latch. The original batteries are still working after a month, and the trick is to not use the built-in screen any longer than necessary to do the setup procedure. Rechargeable batteries can be used, or a 6VDC transformer (or external 6v battery pack) will plug into the universal 6v receptacle on the bottom. On the bottom there's a tripod mount, and on the back is a molded bracket to be used with included tree straps or a cord or cable. In my case I purchased a 3-pack of tree screw mounting brackets to avoid using the included tree straps. That makes it simpler to mount and dismount the camera and also makes it less noticeable to humans. There's nothing to dislike about this camera in my opinion. I purchased two.

AMAZING!!!!
Bought two of these. I live in rural Virginia; have a lot of bird feeders as well as unknown critters visiting my garden and flower beds at night. Installed one pointed at the bird feeders, another at one of my flower beds. Daylight, within minutes had over 200 pics; save 15 of them that are SPLENDID photos of woodpecker, brown thrasher, goldfinches, and red-winged blackbirds at the feeder. Installed one pointed at a flower garden. In the morning, had 24 pics, all of them showed a fox digging at the mulch and dragging out voles and field mice that had made their homes in the mulch. One well-fed fox. Setup is simple. (1) Comes with a 32gb disk pre-installed. Remove the disk, format it on your computer, install it in the camera. (2) Comes with 8 AA batteries. Remove from their wrapping, install in the bottom of the camera. Notice the - and + signs. There are four round compartments each with a + or - sign. Install two batteries in each compartment with the + or - ends sticking out depending on how the slot is marked. Close the battery compartment cover. (3) Open the front cover -- latch on right side as you face the camera. ON the left of the main lens is a slide switches: OFF - TEST - ON. Slide it to TEST position. (4) Set date and time comes up on the screen. On the right of the screen are buttons: MENU, UP arrow, DOWN arrow, OK, and a couple of others I forget. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to set date and time, press OK when each item is set. (5) Press MENU, use arrows to move up and down the menu. When you see an item you want to set, press OK, the item comes up, use arrows to select, OK to set. (6) When you are finished setting parameters, slide the switch from TEST to OFF. Put the strap on the camera, take it outside and mount it. Open the front cover, slide the switch to ON, lock the front cover. Go out later, pull the memory card, put it in your computer, open your photo editing software and check out the photos. In case you have not guessed, I am VERY PLEASED with this camera in every respect.

These do not last - waste of money
I am done with these trail cams. I have had seven of them in the past 13 months. The first one did not work out of the box and was returned/replaced. The replacement worked well for maybe 4 weeks, then the night vision stopped working (which was what I needed it for). I returned it in the nick of time. The third one was on a tree and the clasp that held the batteries in broke after a week (and batteries scattered down a wooded hill). Returned it. Subsequent four trail cams all worked for awhile, then night vision stopped working. The max time I have gotten out of one trail cam is about 3 months of continuous use before it fails. My last one stopped recording after dark last week. While these cameras may seem like a great deal for the price, they don't last. Of course I was beyond the return window for the last few, so they ended up in the trash. Never again.

Good for the price
Setup is easy, I have 3 of them so far and theyre okay for the price. Comes with everything you need but I've swapped the sd card for a 128gb sd because the motion sensor goes off pretty often from what i assume is the placement and wind. If there isn't a lot of branches or movement the 32 gb lasts a good while. Battery life is okay when it's not recording a lot. Probably 3 months or so Camera quality is pretty good day and night, the infrared lights are bright too. Recording takes a couple of seconds after taking pictures . Sometimes if something is moving fast it wont get it on video but will take photos of it. Very basic camera with a lot of settings to get it set up the way you want. I've had them for a couple months and no leaks or anything like that so far, everything is working good still.

Only AVI? That is a big problem for Mac users
Apparently this cam only records video in AVI format. For those of us on a Mac, that really sucks, it means we have to use an app like Handbrake to convert the file. In the description, there is a mention of AVI format, but also mentions "MJPEG" which I took to mean some variant on MP4. Other than that, the cam is OK. Image quality is definitely not great, but I didn't expect it to perform like my $150 trail cam. I mainly want this one to inventory the wildlife on my land, not for imagery to share publicly.
