We purchased this outdoor storage box to store basketballs, footballs, and other outdoor toys, and it has worked out great. The box was easy to put together and feels sturdy enough to handle being outside in the weather. It provides plenty of room for all of our sports equipment, helping keep the patio and yard organized instead of having balls scattered everywhere. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and everything stays dry and protected inside. We also like that it looks nice and blends well with our outdoor furniture. The first one I ever ordered was a different brand and was flimsy and you couldn't even sit on it. However, the deck box from this brand is superior in every way! From clear instructions, to thoughtful product packaging, this product was worth putting together. This deck box has hydraulics to hold the lid up or self lift the lid (with enough pressure). For us it doubles down as a outdoor porch seat, sturdy enough not to break when assembled correctly. Would definitely recommend for those looking for outdoor porch storage, we use it for our garden tools. There's enough space to fit a good bit of stuff.

Light weight storage box and was more than adequate to fit 2 all weather chair covers and 1 all weather love seat cover. However, it’s really not an adequate size to fit seat back pillows. Gardening tools, and other items are fine. Also like the top cover design as it can be used as a table area. Closing/opening top very easy and no problems. Since it will sit on a concrete patio - it was stable. Since its light weight, only time will tell whether it will hold up to the elements and repeated use.

I just received this 30 gallon deck box and put it together. I love it and can think of so many uses so I ordered 2 more; going to use one inside and 2 outside. I’m a 77 year old female and had no problem putting it together. You have to follow the pictures closely and I made sure I knew which part was which because it wasn’t marked. I made sure I knew exactly which piece goes where before starting, and it snapped together really well. I had purchased a similar product a while back and ended up throwing it away because the pieces wouldn’t go together but this one is so well designed it was easy. I got the black one because it’s on sale and it looks great and you can actually sit on it. Highly recommend it; its a perfect size for me so I can handle it easily. Seems sturdy for my purposes. Love it.

This box is perfect! I have these for package deliveries on my front porch. I had another that was flimsy, but served it purpose until a storm blew it away and destroyed it. Then I found this box. It’s amazing what a few extra dollars gets you! I have two large dogs, which translates to I get about of dog food delivered. A 40lb bag sits perfectly on top and this box is so sturdy, it will not fall over or move. For other items, I used to have to race home to get packages out of the rain, or for my Vinyl Album orders, out of the sun. Not anymore! This box is pretty water tight, and since it closes securely, I know the conditions inside the box isn’t as affected by the weather outside. The quality for the price was a concern when I ordered but once I got it and put it together, it is money well spent, even if it did cost a little more. I highly recommend this box even for patios. It’s sturdy enough to sit on without any give, and tall enough to use as a table for back yard gatherings. I’m going to get a couple more of this size and the larger ones too so I can store cushions and other sim bleachable items in them and know they’re protected. There’s even a spot for a lock, but I’ll put a bolt in for winter storage just to keep them from comping open when moved.

This is the perfect size for our front porch to keep outside toys hidden away. The color is great, it was easy to put together, and has survived multiple storms. I also love that it provides a place for smaller packages to be delivered and looks hidden away.

Overall, I like the box. I took away 1 star due to the material of construction being a bit flimsy, especially the lid. The outer side edges curve upward so it doesn't seal 100%. It looks like the pneumatic supports cause the issue. That being said, this box is great for storing our patio furniture covers. Water doesn't get in and it can hold the weight of someone sitting on it, but I wouldn't use it as a seating solution.

Easy to assemble. Really is water proof all summer now through storms etc my pillows and blankets have stayed dry.
