Freshskin Peppermint Essential Oil - 100% Pure & Natural - 100ml

This stuff has lasted me ages. I use it in three ways: I put about 10 drops in an air purifier - one of those globe-like things you add water to and a small motor on top agitates the water. I also use it in a wax burner - just a cheap Airwick one. I've stopped buying wax melts and I instead simply re-melt the same wax and add drops of peppermint oil each time. It doesn't need replenishing very often. Finally when I remember to, I use a spray bottle with water and a few drops of oil to generally spray around the room. I love the fresh clean smell it has. Another bonus is that I bet I don't see more than two spiders a year (I'm touching wood as I type this - if you'll excuse the phrase). I also have a couple of those ultrasonic, electromagnetic plugin things which I've had for years. I guess the two things together may be really working for me. There are some very unfair low-star reviews on here where the oil has failed to get rid of mice for the buyer: it doesn't claim in the description to get rid of anything or to be anything other than what it is. Lots of people really don't understand how reviews should work unfortunately.

Bought to deter rats from both under floor and in loft.........No clinking of claws on pipes under foot downstairs and no scuttling in the loft since applying. I might of gone overboard but I even spayed a watered down solution into the guttering on the overhang of our extension as I thought they may of gained entry here. We have poisoned the little s***s, bought plug in devices and shot any on sight with an air rifle but until now have heard them every night for months. I forced saturated cotton wool pads under floor around radiator pipes and scattered in the loft after finding and destroying an obvious nest and all has remained quiet ever since. Yes, there is a strong and heady scent of peppermint throughout the whole house but it is quite pleasant and calming, I intend to re-dose sometime soon, it's a great way to get rid these horrible little bleeders while making the house smell very calming and relaxing. Highly recommended for rat expulsion or for a relaxing and calming fragrance in your rat less home.

I ordered this oil after hearing constant scratching in one of the walls at home. For fear that rodents were about to set up camp in my abode, I mixed the peppermint oil with water and sprayed it into key corners around the house. As well as leaving the place smelling fantastic, the oil seemed to put a near-immediate stop to the uninvited guests' plans. Never to be seen or heard from again. I love the smell so much, that I use the spray every few weeks whenever I do a deep clean. It's a pleasant way to combat a potential problem.

Good quality oil, good strong smell, and pleased with the bottle. Quite a decent size bottle but was pretty expensive.

Arrived promptly, unfortunately the bottle was damaged on receipt. I contacted the seller who got back to be right away about sending a photo of the damaged product, which I did. A new bottle was dispatched right away. Very good experience with this seller. The peppermint is of good quality and very strong. There are so many ways this oil can be used. I usually mix it with coconut oil/olive oil and other essential oils for hair growth. Adding a few drops to a foot bath provide some relief from sore, swollen and overworked feet! For stress relief, the combination of peppermint, lavender and geranium essential oils added to a warm bath help relieve stiffness whilst being absorbed through the skin. The topical application of peppermint oil is generally safe, although it is necessary to dilute with a carrier oil like almond or jojoba oil. It is advised that some people may experience a burning sensation or allergic rash, especially with sensitive skin. And more importantly, it is never advised to use on young children. Massage 2-3 drops (along with a carrier oil) onto chest or drop into a humidifier to help clear sinus and lung congestion. If you have a problem with ants in your house, leave a peppermint soaked cotton ball in their pathway, they're not big fans of mint and you'll have the nice aroma lingering in your home! I have also used peppermint essential oil with other essential oils like citronella, lemon eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary and tea tree oil as an insect repellent to use when I'm the Caribbean.

Good value for the price .

I bought this because someone told me that its the best thing to use to stop spiders getting in your house. Sprinkle it around your doors and windows they said. They'll never get in they said. Yeah, this may be true, but they failed to mention that you'd be living in a sweet shop! The stuff stinks, its very strong. I've no idea if you're meant to dilute it with water or anything, but after I'd read that we were going to be assaulted by cat sized spiders, I wasn't taking a chance. I bought it and yes, it works. I didn't see one spider after I bought this. So for that I wanted to give it 5 stars...but the smell put me right off, hence the three.

Great quality, I bought it last year as well. I mainly use it on curtains and around windows as a natural spider repellent, and so far it’s worked quite well.
