Bedsore.
I bought this for a patient who had a pressure ulcer that would not heal for over 2 years. It works really well along with being on a low air loss mattress, turning and repositioning every 2 hrs, and applying the right medical treatment the pressure ulcer healed up in over a year. Consistency was the key.

Game changer
This was a game changer for my dad. He is immobile and has a bedsore near the middle of his back. I can position the pillow so that he is able to sleep without any pain. It is a good size and is not too soft o or too firm. I have also used the smaller pillow in his wheelchair.

Very thin
The pillow is a lot thinner than the pillow shown in the photos, I waited 72 hours and it has still remained thin.

Bedsore wedge.
Good support, but it tends to slide, needs Velcro or something like that.

Pillows do not slide and have just the right density.
We used these in the rented hospital bed and on our recliner. The small half-moon wedge was perfect for lifting the sore side off the bed and as a lumbar support in the recliner. The larger pillow with the cut-out alleviated pressure on the bony parts of the hip.

They do not always inflate fully.
I bought 2 of these. One inflated more than the other, so 1 is not really usable. They are hard to send back after opened. They are soft, so inflation to full thickness is important to position someone off their sacrum.

Ehh
I bought this for my mom she's a tiny lady and this was way to big I'm trying to prevent her from being in her back bone. It was easy to slip out along with it being big. It would be for you if you need it for a bigger person
