This thing works great and the readings match up with my blood pressure cuff and heart monitor. It's easy to set up and use and isn't any bigger than my cell phone. The charging base is sturdy with a fluted base so it won't tip over easily if the table is bumped. The charging jack inside the charging base is held in magnetically so you can leave the jack in the device for ease of charging or leave it in the base and chsrge with the supplied USB cable. Be careful, the part is small and easy to lose. I know because my butter fingers fumbled it and it took and hour to find it in the floor because little 9bjecrs like to hide when you drop them. Other reviews say that this cannot be used on infants. That is not the case. You just have to be sure to order the one that also comes with the infant ankle cuff. It costs a tad more but it's worth it. This is much better than the little $20 ones. I had one and it stopped working 2 months after buying it. I really recommend this one. It's worth every penny.

"After fully charged, the pulse ox can be used continuously for 18 hours" is their own description... After having this machine and using it fairly regularly for a few months, I can tell you I have NEVER gotten more than 8.5 hours on a full charge. Trying to monitor O2 sat. overnight with a CPAP machine, this item is dead in very short order. Sadly, the window for returns has expired, or this would be going back. Documentation is fairly flimsy and not very helpful. On the plus side, he machine seems to be fairly well made and accurate, so, there ya go, some good , some bad....edit on 08/18/2023 - I bumped up the review one star because of the OUTSTANDING customer service provided by Holfenry. The device and battery life is what it is, but they went above and beyond to make it better. Great company.

My father is using this device to monitor his blood oxygen and pulse rate while sleeping. He keeps it bedside on the charging dock. The cord for the finger probe is long enough to allow his arm to move without disturbing the placement of the dock. The finger probe is light, soft, easy to wear while sleeping, and its construction is superb. *EDIT* Be sure to use the silicone sleeve when docking the device for a perfectly snug and secure fit. Without the sleeve, the device will rock in the dock. The sleeve is easy to miss because it’s white (like the packaging). Inside the box it is located beneath a divider underneath the device. *END EDIT* The device's menu is very easy to navigate and alarms are easy to set up. The pulse intensity (PI) percentage helps to identify the finger that'll give the strongest readings. The device's accuracy is as advertised. The charging cable is maybe 5 inches long, but that isn't problematic since have the dock hooked up to a multi-charging USB cable used to power devices my father also keeps bedside. All in all, we were very pleased with the device, and then it unexpectedly stopped turning on. The seller/manufacturer was easy to contact via Amazon and responded very quickly to my inquiry. Problem was resolved just as quickly. Customer support is outstanding. They seem to genuinely care that you have a good experience using their product.

I have 3 of your typical SpO2 meters, 2 at home and 1 at work. All 3 show readings very close to my pulmonary doctors' meters. This meter is as accurate as my other meters plus it is much easier to read.However, at the moment my unit has stopped charging. I have tried several chargers as well as other cables but to no avail. I have stopped using it for long periods of time and have lately only used it to do quick checks since the battery will ultimately die and will become unusable. The return period has come and gone and I did not keep the packaging so I can't return. All that said the unit is accurate and built like a brick and the data collection seems top notch. I will update my review once I find out if my unit is truly faulty.***UPDATE unit's battery is now dead and my attempts at getting support have failed. Amazon's support was worthless since the return date has passed and no response from seller.
