Great quality tankless reverse osmosis system!
I originally had the old stage 3 stage reverse osmosis tank system; it did the job but took a lot of space under sink. When my sink rusted through which sparked a mini renovation, I decide to swap it out for a WATERDROP (TSU) tankless water filter. Sadly, the WATERDROP does not remove TDS, therefore the water did not taste as โpureโ. Having spent a decent amount of money on the sink, WATERDROP and labor. I stuck with it for the better couple of years to now going back to a RO (tankless) system for better filtration and tasting water. I had originally wanted to go back to WATERDROP, however I found HYDROVOS with an almost 2:1 waste water ratio vs 1:1 of a comparable WATERDROP (and cheaper) I decide to give HYDROVOS a try. For the most part the unit seem fairly easy to install and pretty much โplug and useโ if you have an โsimilarโ existing water filter system. However, since my existing WATERDROP is not a RO system I did not have a drain line that need to be tap into the sinks drain. Luckily the process is pretty straight forward and all the hardware are included. Also you will need an existing hole in your counter or sink to mount the included faucet/spigot. Though its not apple to apple comparing my existing WATERDROP TSU to the HYDROVOS RO1400. The HYDROVOS feels a lot better built, it has more weight and the unit feels solid whereas the WATERDROP is slightly โflimsyโ. The HYDROVOS is also a tad bigger than the WATERDROP but it's still space saving especially when compared to my original tank RO system. The one thing I really like from HYDROVOS is the much higher quality water faucet/spigot. It feels solidly made and larger than the WATERDROP. It also has an โaeratorโ on the end which neither the WATERDROP or my old ROโs included spigot had. The filter cartridges are a lot larger than the WATERDROP and only require 2 vs 3. I did some calculation and thereโs no real dollar saved with having one less filter in my case. But it sure means one less filter replacement throughout the year. A thoughtful after thought is that HYDROVOS included a scannable QR code on the filter which will come in handy when a replacement is needed! The only one minor 'negative' is the packaging seem a little lacking coming in a brown box. However that aside the product is package very securely and even thought it arrived a little banged up the ample packing material protected the unit very well. All in all, the HYDROVOS is a great RO system, it removes TDS and contaminant (as it should) its space saving, tankless and water saving with the 1.9:1 ratio. Itโs a solid built unit + spigot while being easy to install with all the hardware included (minus power tools and elbow grease) if you have a fairly similar water filter like in my case. For what you get I recommend it!

Easy RO water that fits under my sink!
I recently installed Hydrovos reverse osmosis system that has completely transformed the quality of the drinking water in my home. If youโre looking for the purest, cleanest water for your family, this system is an excellent choice. One of the standout features of this system is its compact design. It fits neatly under my sink, taking up minimal space, which is perfect for those with smaller kitchens or limited cabinet space. Despite its compact size, it doesnโt compromise on performance. While there is a bit of vibration noise when the system is in use, itโs relatively quiet compared to other systems Iโve heard. The slight hum is a small trade-off for the efficiency and effectiveness of this unit. Itโs incredibly satisfying to know that the water coming out of my tap is of the highest quality. Installation was straightforward and didnโt require any professional help. The instructions were clear, making it a hassle-free process. I managed to set it up in a short time, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I highly recommend Hydrovos reverse osmosis system, especially for moms and families committed to clean living. The peace of mind that comes with providing the best drinking water for my family is priceless. If youโre in the market for an efficient, space-saving, and effective water purification system, this one is a top contender.

Great little RO System
This is my first time installing a RO system. The installation was very easy and straight forward. I like that small size that doesn't take up a lot of space under my sink. One good thing about it is the filter is very fast, it doesn't have to wait so long for the water to get filtered and come out. It is very quiet, no noise at all. I really like it.

Support is non-existent
Per the documentation, it recommends having a certified plumber do the install...and since I had other plumbing work to be completed, I decided to do this with a plumber as well. The documentation is not clear on a number of issues which wouldn't be a problem if they actually had support. I called repeatedly and left voicemails as well as emailed while the plumbers were on site. When I did NOT receive a return phone call for 5 hours while the plumbers were here, I decided it was best to return the unit since it was not working properly. I cannot recommend this unit based on the non-existent support.

Nice tankless unit, glad I had it professionally installed
In reading other reviews it seems customers either found it very easy to install or not easy at all. I elected to have a plumber with over 30 years of experience do the work. He called it โrelatively straightforwardโ though it took him over three hours and a few swear words to get the unit in place and working. His main gripe was that the 1/4โ black drain tube was not included. He and I both searched the box, then around on the floor where we unboxed it, and nowhere was the black drain tube to be found. He did find a *white* (opposite of black on the color spectrum) tube that was the same size so he said โI guess this is it.โ I didnโt love the lack of confidence. He also showed me the water shutoff valve which he recommended replacing because โthese things always fail and leak, just depends on when.โ So that component also didnโt have his confidence. He had never heard of this brand, nor had I, but the unit itself seems to be fairly well made. I definitely love that it is compact and fits very easily under our kitchen sink. Other reviewers have mentioned this and itโs very important: you must have a hole in the countertop or sink for the dispenser. We elected to remove our handheld soap dispenser from the kitchen sink to have this instead; worked totally fine. Our city water, just like all others around the country, is average/bad. No one wants all of those nasty chemicals in there so my wife and I buy local spring water that we drink. Now we can use our RO city water to wash our vegetables, fill our dog bowls, etc. This RO system is a great little unit and at a very nice price. I also love that it is tankless which is convenient and saves lots of space. All in all this a very nice, compact, affordable unit - that Iโm glad I didnโt install myself but paid to do so professionally.

Easy install, great tasting water
Just installed and tested the water. To compare, the PUR Plus filtered water is reading at around 400 TDS and the Hydrovos 1600 is reading around 40-60 TDS. Also the installation was very seemless. I purchased the mini tank as well for the fridge line. I will add the line to the fridge another day, but I have already installed the mini tank and it was pretty easy.

Save room and works great
Compared to my previous under the sink water filter, this one is a lot compacted. The installation is painless and we got filtered water very quickly. I also like it because every time to change the filter is 60$, and my previous is 80$ so that is the saving right there.

Solid quality and easy DIY install. Compact size.
So excited to have an RO system again! We had an old RO with tank that took up too much space, so my husband replaced it with a filter system. I realized right away I didn't like the taste of filtered tap water. Husband did the install which he said was easy and we were able to use our current designer spigot. the flow rate was not as strong as a filter system, but it was good for an RO system. All install parts were in the box and honestly, I was able to keep all my under-sink kitchen items. Video was my husband and daughter having some fun. Only problem we had were bubbles coming out of the spigot. after a couple of gallons of water, it fixed itself.

Expectations are met.
Works good. Supply is from city watermain. Supply pressure to the RO unit 58psig. Was able to drop particles from 175 ppm to 3 to 4 ppm. Has a sufficient pressure to feed the fridge w/o tank. Flow from the fridge 500ml/25sec.

Noisy
It is too noisy. Reached customer service and was told that it is normal for this to be that noisy. Going to return it.
