Normally it's pretty easy to spot questionable supplements. Misspellings, poor packaging, missing product information, obvious flaws in the product, etc. A little research can go a long way, and with this "Bronson Basics Biotin" it passed all the checks - legitimate company (US based), secure packaging (including shrink wrap cap and foil protector), spelling good, all contact info available, lot number/expiration date information, full list of ingredients, etc.While I can't test for potency, all indicators are green for legitimacy and manufacturing quality. This was a refreshing change and I'm confident enough to be taking this supplement every day.

My hair and nails are in better shape since I began using this product several months ago. I appreciate that these tablets are substantially lower in cost than biotin on the shelf in stores.

I've been taking biotin for many years, always the same amount. I look for specials, and got this one, not realizing it's half the dose I usually take per pill. But I doubled up and have been taking the same amount. It's been over six months now, and I can tell that the quality is not as good as other brands I've taken. I know from my fingernails. I have joked in the past that I can use my fingernails as tools, they are so strong. Not with this product. They split and shred. I have half a bottle left and am tossing it. I came to Amazon to order a different brand.
