I recently purchased the MSI G273CQ, a 27" for myself for gaming and after a few weeks of testing here's why I'm giving it a solid 5 stars.Immersive Visuals (★★★★★):The QHD (1440p) resolution on this 27" monitor is a game-changer. The visuals are crisp, colors pop, and details come to life. Is it a great monitor, high Quality, beatiful image

Great monitor for the price. Colors are great, refresh rate is great.Only issues I have are no speakers as well as white fringing around each corner. Happened a few weeks of use. You can’t tell when the screen is playing back videos or games, but when the screen is darker you’ll see it.

Took awhile to come in, but it’s a great product and was worth the wait. The monitor looks great. Here’s cyberpunk at 1440p ultra. The colors look great. The video can’t do it justice it’s something you’d have to see for yourself. Panel is also very responsive. Also I’m not sure if this monitor can do 4k but the option for 2160p is available and it performs like it would at 4k so I’m not sure about that. And on windows it goes up to 144hz, but on fedora im able to get 170hz somehow, so that’s interesting lol. But overall a good monitor I’m very pleased.

It has been a while since I got a new monitor so this one blew me away, it’s super bright, exceptionally functional, adjustable, and for the money it was worth it. The sound quality is ok as it does not make a sound.

I got this on Prime Day and am pleased. I chose this particularly for the VA panel for gaming. I love the contrast ratios and prefer them. Keep in mind that when watching videos/shows/movies, the blacks are not good. Grainy/blocky/chunky. No monitor does everything perfect. I knew this going into it but figured I'd mention it. The monitor itself feels a little cheap, a lot of plastic, but I would expect that from a $140 monitor. I bought a HUANUO monitor arm to mount it onto which worked out well because the monitor came with little extension pegs to be able to use a monitor arm.One thing I really like about this over my Samsung G5 is that the front panel on this MSI is completely sealed around the edges. The Samsung is NOT sealed all the way around and the top of the panel is peeling off, almost the entire way across the top. Apparently it's an extremely common problem with them that doesn't seem to be able to be repaired 100% even after being returned and fixed under warranty.

Llegó antes de lo esperado y el paquete no llegó golpeado ni maltratado, todo en excelente estado.Estuve varias semanas investigando varios modelos de diferentes marcas y sus características antes de decidirme por éste.Lo que ofrece éste monitor es un panel VA QHD con un excelente tiempo de respuesta, por lo que el ghosting es bastante menor a lo habitual en éste tipo de paneles. Incluso el conocido ghosting en tonos oscuros (black smearing) es mínimo y muy difícil de percibir. Dicho está de más; no es tan molesto como otros monitores VA. Sigue presente, pero insisto es mucho menor y he probado otros monitores curvos VA que sí llegan a ser molestos, éste modelo no. No obstante el monitor incluye, como es costumbre, ajustes para overdrive (overclock al tiempo de respuesta) con el que puedes eliminar el ghosting, pero el nivel más alto de overdrive provoca el efecto inverso de overshoot, por lo que recomiendo dejar el intermedio. Adicional a esto te da la opción para activar o desactivar el modo 1ms MPRT, aunque esto desactiva el FreeSync y no se pueden usar ambos ajustes de manera simultánea, es lo normal, hasta en monitores de la gama más alta es así, no tengo quejas en ese aspecto.Uno de los puntos más fuertes de éste monitor por sobre la competencia es su profundidad de color de 10 bits, la mayoría de lo que encuentras allá afuera son monitores de 8 bits y en muchas escenas en esos monitores se notan saltos de tonos de color. En éste monitor los colores se aprecian muy correctamente difuminados aunque sin llegar a ser un monitor para ámbito profesional, simplemente no te encontrarás con esos saltos de tonos tan molestos como en monitores 8 bits. Además cuenta con HDR Ready, no es una certificación oficial, pero ya podrás disfrutar de contenido HDR de manera aceptable. El brillo máximo sólo es de 400 nits (lo normal para VA, incluso algo mayor que muchos modelos económicos), yo supongo que es por ésta razón que éste modelo no logró una mayor certificación HDR, pero si usas tu equipo de noche o en una habitación algo oscura el HDR es más que suficiente. He probado dicho modo en videos y en varios juegos que lo soportan y se ve bastante bien, estoy muy satisfecho.En cuanto al contraste; lo típico con paneles VA, negros profundos, blancos muy brillantes, excelentes tonos de color. A mi gusto se aprecia mejor que cualquier panel IPS que muestran tonos más grisáseos, pero cada quien su preferencia.La curvatura es perfecta, ni muy pronunciada ni imperceptible. Colocándo el monitor a la distancia sugerida de tus ojos el panel se siente muy cómodo y al ser un 27" se agradece la curvatura.El monitor SI CUENTA con una tasa de refrescamiento de 170Hz, leí un par de reseñas puntuando mal el producto porque supuestamente les mintieron xD éste modelo soporta de fábrica hasta 165Hz, pero si te aventuras a abrir el menú del monitor encontrarás la opción para activar los 170Hz y es tan simple como eso (en las fotos las pruebas).Dispone de certificación Tüv Rheinland para el modo de baja luz azul por lo que puedes estar seguro de que cuidarás de tus ojos, incluye modos gaming, calibrador de colores, etc. Lo de siempre, pero se agradece el soporte de baja luz azul.Algo que me encantó es que cuenta con un modo de "Image Enhancement", que como bien lo dice en el nombre, mejora la definición de la imágen en pantalla ejecutando el proceso desde el propio monitor. Ésta herramienta es muy útil al reproducir contenido de menor resolución, ya que define los bordes de los elementos en la imagen mejorando bastante respecto la fuente original. Tiene 4 niveles de intensidad más el apagado, por lo que puedes elegir si usarlo y en qué cantidad o apagarlo.El botón para navegar en el menú es bastante cómodo, puedes configurar 4 atajos (1 por cada dirección) para controlar el brillo, tu perfil de imagen, la fuente de entrada, etc. Bastante más cómodo que otros monitores que usan botones individuales para navegar por los ajustes, punto a favor en ése apartado.No hay mucho más que añadir, lo único que eché de menos fue un soporte más ergonómico para girar la pantalla, ya que el único movimiento que permite es girar ligeramente hacia arriba o hacia abajo, no permite ajuste de altura, ni girar a la izquierda y derecha. Probablemente esto te orille a buscar un soporte VESA (75x75mm) o si ya tienes uno recomiendo usarlo en lugar de su soporte, ya que sí está muy limitado. Ése sería su único punto en contra, pero considero que no por eso merece una menor calificación, ya que el panel es espectacular y el soporte es perfectamente reemplazable. No es un soporte malo, cumple con su función, pero si buscabas un poco más de libertad para ajustarlo, el brazo de fábrica no te dará mucha...En cuanto a puertos, no dispone de USBs de ningún tipo, por lo que está pensado para un usuario más casual y por éste precio es lógico. Cuenta con 2 entradas HDMI 2.0b, 1 DisplayPort 1.4a y 1 jack 3.5mm (no tiene bocinas integradas), la potencia de audio del jack es muy baja a mi parecer y no hay un apartado en el menú del monitor para controlarlo, por lo que yo recomiendo mejor usar audífonos o conectar tu sistema de sonido directo a tu PC o consola, si este puerto es tu único recurso hará su trabajo, pero no entregará mucha potencia. A mí no me molesta porque no lo necesito, pero había que mencionarlo.Yo estoy muy contento con éste modelo porque entrega excelentes prestaciones para lo que es; mostrar imágen. El hecho de tener 10 bits de color fue el punto clave para que decidiera comprarlo y no me arrepiento de nada, MSI entrega excelente calidad y puedes estar tranquilo de que harás una muy buena compra y ante cualquier problema Amazon te tiene cubierto.Muy buen monitor, y el mejor calidad-precio (en mi opinión) para su tamaño, resolución, tasa de refrescamiento y calidad de imagen.

The MSI G273CQ is a fantastic gaming monitor. The 27" curved QHD display (2560x1440) is sharp and immersive. More importantly, the 170hz refresh rate does everything right - including making the stream feel extremely smooth. The color is vibrant (thanks to HDR), and with FreeSync Premium, motion is clear (no stuttering or tearing whatsoever). Also, setting it up was easy with HDMI or DisplayPort, and I'm normally a stickler for tilt adjustment just to make sure I get the angle correct. So, if you're looking for a large display, big visuals, along with high-quality at a good price you found it.

The color difference between this and my previous 1080p monitor very noticeable , it's so big that I am planning to get another monitor to replace this.

Un monitor a mi gusto personal, excelente, si tiene los 170 hz, hay que habilitarlo en los ajustes, por defecto te da 165hz, ya es cuestión de gusto, en lo personal lo utilizo en 165hz, en estética esta muy bien, en cuestión de ajuste de altura y movimiento, le hace falta, por lo demás excelente
