Great Board, and Effective Post-Sale Service
Very happy with the v5 until today. Smooth Riding, wishing all their models have the carrying handle, very convenient. Charge speed is nice, I can ride to work, charge it while working, and ride home. The product is advertised as having an 11mi. range and I could never squeeze more than 4-5 mi. out of it. I assumed this is because my route I take is mixed up and downhill, and their numbers are 'lab grown.' But that's fine, it got me to work. I only mention this is it may be a symptom of my current issue.Today I went out for a ride on a full charge - was not even 10 minutes out the door when the whole thing just died. Board is unresponsive, controller wont connect unless I'm pushing along. Reads extremely weak voltage when I'm pushing along (likely just a read on the regenerative charge coming from the motors as I move it), but other than that the board does not respond to breaking or acceleration, and the controller wont even connect unless the board is moving. Went to plug in the board and the charger's light is green, so the batteries must be fully charged, but like I said, board is unresponsive.I'm more than happy to give 5 stars once the issue is resolved, but as it stands, I cant recommend the product if it's just gonna gonk out after a month of moderate use (maybe 20 hours accumulatively?). Sent an email to the Meepo support team with this info, I'll have to wait and see about a response. After about 2 weeks of back and forth, they helped diagnose the problem and shipped me a brand new battery (as mine was defective/not working properly). Communication went really well and my emails were returned next business day. Process probably would have been quicker had I not missed an email or two. All in all I'm really satisfied with the customer service experience. After installing the new battery I went for a ride and everything seems to be working perfectly.Considering my experience so far, If were to ever get an upgrade from the V5 it would likely be another meepo board, maybe a onewheel. Offroad riding seems like a lot of fun.

It's just good.
After having this thing for a few months now, I think this thing(Campus v5) is super fun. I weigh just under 200 lbs and this skateboard lives up to its name. It is able to get up to the speeds advertised even with someone heavy like me riding it. Although it doesn't get the advertised 11 miles range on the 3rd and 4th speeds, it does have more than enough range for my uses. I've put more than 150 miles on it so far and it doesn't feel like it has lost any of its range. As far as design goes, the handle cut into the board makes it super convenient and portable. This feature also allows me to use a bike lock to secure it if I don't want to haul it with me into buildings. Also feels like they put a lot of thought into the controller/software. The board will turn on if you just start riding it and will shut off when you turn off the controller. This makes it super convenient because you only have to deal with manually turning off and on the controller.I spent a long time looking through reviews and looking at different boards before I settled on this one. Hopefully this helps others make a good decision.

Fun but unreliable
If you're a student looking to buy an electric longboard for on-campus use, don't.Unreliability:The V5 is only good for about a year, after which the motors and brackets start to fail, the screws holding everything together will start to loosen up and will need to be put back on with LockTight. I've had the wheel assembly completely snap; they charge $150 for replacement wheels. After one year the battery will only last for about 4 to 5 miles and the board will lose its original speed.Parts:Meepo is very exclusive with their parts, makes it difficult to buy it from third parties for cheaper, they charge you a ton anytime something goes wrong. The rear wheels use a rubber "tire" which wears out over time, cracks, and loses traction, but the funny thing is that Meepo doesn't sell the tire on its own, you'd have to buy the entire rear wheel assembly for full price.Overall, if you want a board for fun once in a while, it's a good choice, but for everyday use, it's terrible. It will not last long, and even now, after just one year, the battery refuses to charge to the full 4 bars and will only keep a 3/4 charge.

Quick and amazing
This skateboard is useful for those in hilly or large college campuses. It has a long battery life with it going out in maybe 2 hours of straight full throttling on its highest speed. It is easy to move around in and it is basically an electric long board. It is not made from plastic but from wood and with plastic protective parts on the end point of the board which makes it sturdy and reliable. It does take some time to get used to but it is very easy to use. I don't recommend going super fast as it can start wobbling if your feet aren't placed in the right place but over time, you will get used to it.Very beautiful, very powerful.

Good board so far m
Pretty good board on gear 4 it doesnโt exactly go 28 mphs as a 155 pound man but still is pretty dang fast and fun to ride it would definitely recommend for anyone in college who needs a good ride to clsss and back.

Good build quality
So far board works great out of the box! Product is great, goes fast and Iโm 160 lbs

Good board, but the advertised range is misleading
The Meepo V5 is a fun and well-built electric longboard. The acceleration is good, the board feels stable, and the different speed gears work well. However, the biggest issue for me is the battery range.Meepo advertises up to 11 miles of range, but that does not seem realistic if you actually ride at the higher speeds this board is designed for. At Gear 3 (18 mph) and Gear 4 (24 mph), I am only getting around 6โ7 miles of actual range.I weigh about 150 lbs, so I am not a particularly heavy rider. In my experience, getting close to the advertised 11 miles would probably require riding at very low speeds, around 5โ6 mph, for most or all of the ride.Thatโs a big difference if youโre buying this board specifically for commuting or longer-distance rides. The board itself is good, but I would not recommend the V5 for long-distance riding if you expect the advertised 11-mile range. For short trips and recreational riding, itโs a great board. But if range is your priority, I would recommend looking at a model with a larger battery.Pros: Good acceleration, fun to ride, solid build, multiple speed modes.Cons: Real-world range is significantly lower at higher speeds; 11-mile advertised range is not realistic for Gear 3โ4.Overall: Great board for short/medium trips, but not a good choice for long-distance riding if you need reliable range.

Budge but robust board
After two years of faithful service, my board is finally reaching the end of its life. Throughout these two years, Iโve ridden it every time I go to campus. The picture of the wheels clearly shows the extent of my use. Despite its current state of disrepair, it continues to carry me to my destination. Considering its price, Iโm not expecting any more from it. For the future, I might consider getting another board from meepo and fixing this one for occasional use.

Very fast and stable. Worth the money
The fastest Iโve gone on it was 26mph (around 40kmh) on a slight downhill. It has also held up to 2 people weighing around 50kg each and can still go relatively fast

great beginner board
great skateboard to be introduced. its kinda heavy, since its an electric longbaord. so its not too comfortable to lug around. but thats really my only major problem. i would highly reccomend to get REALLY comfortable using it. maybe in at an indoor parking lot (if u live in an apartment) or empty street (if you're living in a house) before trying commute anywhere. just go anywhere big and emptypractice pushing, steering, stopping. with and without the moter. cause its not as easy to control as an electric scooters or ebikes. but when you're able to control it, its gets incredibly fun.you're able to look aroundyou're hands are free to hold anythingyou can squat very low at tought the groundits good exerciseand you feel like a badass etc...

Powerful board loads of fun!
Fast and powerful! 45km/h if u can handle it, responsive brakes quick acceleration, great range. Overall it's a great price for a board of this caliber I would definitely recommend this board! A++

Defect
After about 2 weeks the battery started to cut out randomly even after charing for hours and riding for 5 minutes. It's a fast board so for the power to drop is very dangerous and as a result I have now got scratches on the trucks due to the defective product and I have been injured due to the battery issues. Avoid.
User
Terrible
Terrible. Only lasted 6 months before a wire broke off the battery. Meepo customer service is also terrible. They donโt stand behind their product. Told me I had to go through Amazon. Amazon made me an offer I accepted but Meepo washed their hands of it. Buy a different brand.
