Can i plug in non-poe devices into the poe ports?

Yes you can, the switch will auto-detect if the device requires PoE. If not it just functions as a standard Ethernet port.

Could I plug and power my AP through this?

It depends on the spec of your access point; you may need to add a splitter at the AP to separate the power and data going into it.

Thinking of buying the dms-105 with 5 ports. Is this PoE and which port do I plug my router into?

I bought this item as a Gigabit switch to replace a lesser switch when I upgraded to faster broadband. I don't know whether this offers PoE, but I can say there is a different model on the same page that is listed as PoE. If in any doubt, get in touch with D-Link to confirm.
