Great Value for Quality: Kingroom PETG 3D PLA Filament
I recently used Kingroom 3D PLA filament, and I’m very impressed with its performance. As a regular 3D printing enthusiast, I appreciate both the quality and value this filament offers. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:Excellent Print Quality: The filament delivers consistently high-quality prints with a smooth finish. The dimensional accuracy is spot on, and the layer adhesion is strong, which results in durable and well-defined prints. The glossy surface adds a professional touch to the finished products.Easy to Print With: This PLA filament is very user-friendly. It has a reliable flow and maintains a consistent diameter throughout the spool, which helps reduce issues like clogging or uneven extrusion. Minimal stringing and oozing make it straightforward to work with.Low Odor: Compared to some other filaments, Kingroom PLA has a relatively low odor during printing, making it more pleasant to use in indoor settings without needing extra ventilation.Good Bed Adhesion: Prints adhere well to the print bed, which reduces the risk of warping or lifting. This reliability helps maintain the accuracy and quality of the print from start to finish.Affordability: This filament offers great value for money. It’s competitively priced, especially considering its performance and quality. If you’re looking for a cost-effective PLA that doesn’t compromise on quality, this is a great option.

Great Colorful Filament!
Great filament in a plastic spool!Colors are bright and shiny, filament winding is orderly.Fit was perfect on a Bambu Labs AMS Lite.Using Orca slicer, using generic PLA profile, no tuning required on Bambu A1 Mini's.Smooth printing from start to finish.Photos attached of a Cinderwing3D crystal baby dragon to show the filament in a faceted model and the Abstract Girl plant pot by PipeCox for a more organic look, both came out beautifully.

Great filament
The media could not be loaded. Wounded up neat, dry and printed very well, surface texture is smooth and had no clogs, filament diameter is accurate, had no jams on the extruder... no stringing , no tangles and perfect printing out the box.Color is vibrant but I do wish the purple/ gold dual color was more of a brighter gold..the gold shade was more of a copper or orange gold then a bright shiny gold. The filament printed very nicely and adhered well on the texture pei build plate.Highly recommend this product for the price and quality

Was good for a while but QC seems to have dropped off hard.
*Updated review*For a while this stuff was my go to for dual and tricolor filament, but their QC seems to have dropped to near zero.at this point I've gone through 3 of their 10 packs in the past 2 months. The first had 2 bad spools in it, the second had one, and in the third I have yet to find anything that'll actually print for more than a few hours without jamming due to the extreme variation in the width of the filament.Because of the good experiences I've had in the past I gave this brand a few chances, but when you have to return over $500 I think its time to call it, I'm not sure if the stuff they put in the 10 packs is worse than the single rolls, but it definitely seems like it.Hopefully the quality of their product improves in the future.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------*Old review*I really like this stuff, Kingroon has some of the most reasonably priced dual, and tricolor filaments I've found and the print quality is consistently good with only a little bit of drying. However recently I've been running into issues where about 10-20 times per spool the filament will be wound so that it pinches between the spool and the the inner wound layer causing it to snag and be unable to feed.It hasn't caused the filament to break, but it has snagged hard enough that my filament dryer has been pulled out of place. If i was using this on a printer without a filament sensor in the extruder this issue would have caused nearly every print from the last 12 or so spools to fail.Hopefully they'll get the problem under control soon, I'd really like to not have to babysit the filament spool all day.

Kingroon filament never disappoints
This is a nice and easy filament to print with. I have a lot of luck with silks from Kingroon. I am using a Bambu Lab X1C and had to do minimal tuning. I believe my max flow rate was a bit higher that it should have been, so I can't blame the filament for that. The colors blend well and change at a decent layer distance. Their is not a perfect color change filament because you have to use a lot of infill or a large part to get a good color transition. This one worked better that a few others I have. The axolotl was done with one wall and lightening infill, so you can see the color changes happened pretty rapidly.Overall, I use Kingroon PLA, PLA Silk and PETG pretty regularly and will continue to do so.

My printer didn't like this filament
I have a creality k1 max and this filament jammed in my extruder every time I tried to print. It would start out fine and then just stop. It looked like it would get pinched in the extruder. After attempting several different prints and all failed and jammed and tearing apart the extruder and a brand new nozzle I still had no success and clogged every time. Switched filament and attempted same print and was successful with no issues. Not sure if I got a bad spool or what happened. The partial prints I did get out looked really cool and had a clean appearance and didn't string and printed smoothly. I'm sad. I really wanted this to work. I really liked these colors.

Easy to Calibrate to get great results!
By far, one of the best tricolor silk filaments I’ve used! I had no issues with adhesion, clogging, or lots of stringiness. There were some strings but a lighter takes care of that. The three colors are bright and the spool is wound tight so the color stays consistent

Beautiful Filament, Great Colors
This filament is absolutely beautiful and prints great. There is a nice variety of colors that actually show up in the print which shines splendidly. Will definitely buy again.

Pesimo
