The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Nintendo Switch)

Awesome game. I have it on Xbox and really wanted to play it on something portable and now finally you can! Loads quickly onto my switch and the game play is excellent for a portable console. Shame you don’t have the mods you can get on Xbox, pc etc but to be fair I’m just happy that I can take it with me. The sounds quality is great and once you’ve got your ear buds or headphones on you are totally lost to the outside world. Now all we need is oblivion on switch and I think I will never leave the house! Highly recommended.

It's Skyrim, so you pretty much know what to expect by now. With my purchase of the Switch edition, I can now happily say I own a copy of the game on every household appliance I have. If you've played on PC or the PS4/XB1 Special Edition, you'll notice that the game doesn't look quite as good on Nintendo's machine. If you're in handheld mode this is barely noticeable, if you're playing on TV it is a little.It's a bit expensive for a game that game out in 2011, but it is a good game, and a great one to mess about in and finally play as something other than a generic warrior in. All DLC is included.

Having bought this game on multiple platforms over the years its the game that keeps on giving. First on 360 and then on PS4 and now on Switch. I love that I can fight dragons and wizards on my commute to work. The Switch version is closer to the 360 than the PS4 for obvious reasons but that does not take anything away from the fact that this is a classic game with amazing and immersive gameplay. If you have tried it before, but like so many failed to complete it ... try again here. If this is your first time please take my word for it that this is one of the best action rpg's out there. Classic now made better ... play anywhere :) LOVE IT.

First of all I have never been the biggest Skyrim fan, I preferred Oblivion and I would of preferred a remaster of Oblivion. After playing a while on the switch I have really enjoyed this game even though I got really bored on the PC even with the mods. It runs well and looks better than its original version from XBOX360 and PS3 days. They have changed nothing apart from the graphics. The only downside is the price, £41 for a 7 year old game, granted you do get all the DLC, but if you can get this game for £30 or below I would definitely say get this game, but if you;'re on the edge on buying this, you can most likely get it for the fraction of the price on PC or other consoles.

It's portable Skyrim I had wanted to get back into Skyrim for a number of months but always put off by the thought of having to sit down in front of my PC, install it, make sure my mods were all still there, etc. I was skeptical of how Skyrim would feel being played in handheld mode but having read several reviews most people seemed to think it was fine. 7 hours on a plane was more than just fine. It rekindled my love of the game. Being able to play this anywhere, put the switch to sleep and pick up where I left off, and the fact that it runs really really well makes this a worthwhile purchase. It looks pretty decent too! Not modded decent, but after 5 minutes you don't even realise you're playing anything different. The only thing that took some getting used to was the FOV. It's...odd. 3rd person is also difficult to use at first, but you get used to it after a couple of hours. Absolutely not something that would make me not buy this though.

It's great to play a game as time consuming and extensive as Skyrim, couldn't believe it came to the switch which I think is the best way to play it since you can play it anywhere. If you've ever played it before this game can be played over and over so your not wasting money buying this. I've played it on switch for about 30 hours and I've only done like 5 story quests because I've been doing lots of side stuff and exploring.

Skyrim ist eines der besten RPGs, das ich je gespielt habe. Auch wenn die Mainstory-Line etwas zu wünschen lässt, punktet das Spiel in Vielfalt, Erkundung und World-Building.

I enjoy

I get a fair number of crashes and glitches (like a item being stuck in the air or a non-player character spinning like a top when killed) but I think that five stars is still warranted. A very fun and immersive game that has immense replay value.
